Where to find DCL images?

Hey everyone! We are 19 days (and alot of hours) away from my DD surprise birthday cruise and I had an idea. I would like to make up a pillowcase and hopefully sweet talk guest services in getting it autographed by the characters for her birthday. I plan on printing out some images on iron-on paper. Does anyone know where I can find some good DCL images to use?

I have aol and all i do is in my search engine box type in Free Disney Clip Art. I am sure it will work for any search engine though. Hope this helps

Let me give you a piece of advice that I learned the HARD way. At 2am the night befre you leave for your cruise is not the time to finish up surprises, like making pillow cases. I made these transfers and they were adorable. I included Character pictures, so the characters could sign by, I used the Disney font to write the kids name, copied the cruise map, added the date. It was spectacular, if I say so my self.

Went downstairs and ironed it on. Peeled off the backing to reveal my creative masterpie and darn nearly died. It was reverse. I forgot to reverse the writing before I printed on the transfer. I took them to the airport and showed my son (who is a computer artist) and step son They both agreed, and threw them in the airport trash can. I was so deflated. I stopped at Target on the way to the ship and bought new pillow cases and that is what my DGD's got.

So if you are going to do transfers make sure you revers the image before printing and don't do it when you are sleep deprived.

What type of images are you looking for? I'm willing to find you some links but not sure if you want clip art, actual photo's from the DCL, or characters?

ennisb - I am looking for clipart. It seems like I remember seeing a Mickey dressed in a captains uniforms standing at the front of a boat or wave or something like that. I was able to find the DCL logo image but that was it.

What characters are on the cruise? I love the idea of having their picture on the pillowcase and would love to include as many as possible, but wouldn't want to include a character and not get an autograph.

It sounds like no matter who I put on the pillowcase, will likely be able to sign it. I was planning on putting all the princesses (for DD) and all the ones she has in her autograph books (pretty basic).

Max is on the cruise, too??? How MAGICal for DS3. She obsessed (as only a little one can) over the new Mickey Christmas DVD and she LOVED Max. She asks me at least every other day if Max will be on the Mickey Boat. I never thought he would be, so I always break it to her gently that he won't be. I still won't tell her, but what a wonderful suprise for her if he is!

Mamacrush, Yes Max is on the Magic. My DGD(4) screamed and ran to him when she saw him. What a surprise that was for Max and us. She typically shys away from characters.

gshomate, do not remember seeing Auroa on the Magic. I remember Cinderella and Belle and Wendy.

I verified with my DDIL. Auroa and Snow white are on the cruise for pictures and autographing.

PPPiglet -- The reason the "Pooh" characters aren't on the ship is the same reason why they won't let you "rent" the "Pooh" characters for a Disney wedding....Disney doesn't own the rights to Winnie the Pooh - they only lease them...
