Have always used Disney transportation (and not rented a car), but am thinking about renting a car to give us more flexibility this year. Want to get the best deal possible.

Where do I find the best rental car discount codes and coupons? Mousesavers, the DIS, etc.?

I am renting a car in March from Sunshine rent a Car. They had the best rates

Right here on the DIS This is how I always find the "dirt cheap" rentals Last year someone posted they got a good deal with Alamo. I tried the codes they used and viola I had an SUV for 8 days for a total of $128. What a bargain!

You will find that there are a plethora of discounts depending.

If you are a member of BJs Wholesale club, Costco or Sam's Club,they all have some EXCELLENT rates for their customers (esp with Alamo) and some discount coupons on top of that.

they've got travel brochure by customer service desk w/coupons & codes.

rentalcodes (dot) com is another good source.

I had a one pop up when I was inserting all of the non working codes on the Dollar web site. It was called "city rate special" or something like that. Mini van $217 per wk, plus $35 per extra day.

seems as though 'something' is always offered @ slight discount if you plug in w/no codes...still nothing to thrill me; hope the rates drop for summer

Dollar is on site. I tried KISS2 for a mini van for the last wk in May and "there is no car available at that rate". For the last 15 years I have paid around $199/ wk. for a mini van so $17 more isn't that bad.

Thank you so much for the KISS2 code! I just reserved a compact for 15 days in May and after all the fees and taxes, it came to $296. That's awesome!
