Where to Find and how to Use GIFs

I would love to use some disney gifs here on the Dis, I think they are so cute. I am just wondering what site most people tend to use to get these gifs and how can i put them into a thread? Do I just take the link of the gif, or do I copy and paste? TIA.

To post pictures you can copy and paste, OR drag and drop; OR use a photo hosting site (copy the IMG code and paste it).

One note, to post pictures the picture must be smaller than 1MB.

So, here I googled Disney pic, right-clicked on the graphic, chose copy image, and pasted it below. However, the picture is hyperlinked. If you copy & paste, make sure that if there is a hyperlink it is to a site permitted on the DIS. I did select the pic and choose "unlink" to remove the link in the pic.

I put a gif in my siggy, saved it, checked it, and it was there and showed up fine. When I signed out and came back today, the entire siggy was gone, including my jumping pumpkin. What lesson can I learn from this? Was my gif too big?

ETA: Looks like my gif is back but I can't figure out how to put something beside it instead of planting it below it.

@Forum Jumper, I checked your signature, and it looks like you may have deleted the rest of it. If you put it back, after the [/im g] tag, don't hit the return, but maybe put in two spaces, your next gif or words, 2 spaces, and the next one. See if they come up next to each other.

How do you know there's a hyperlink (if there is one)?

When you paste it and hover there will be a pointer for a hyperlink, or if you put bb code editor you'll see

The icon to the right is the bb code editor. Click on that to see the bb code and remove any tags.
