where to even begin!

OK, so I posted here a little while ago about my parents and sister's unfavorable reaction to a WDW wedding. We have all since talked and smoothed things over (my sister even bought me flowers when she realized how genuinely hurt I was). My mom mentioned she and my dad would give me $10 grand towards the wedding. I'm not sure what OUR budget will be, nor if my fiance's parents will help (though I do think they will), but I want to start looking into what exactly this whole process entails.

So where do I begin? We created a guest list and it turned out to be.. ahem, a lot larger than I initially thought, at about 130 people. Now a lot of those are on the chopping block and I could frankly do without, but we're still at 100ish people I DEFINITELY want to invite.

If we do have the wedding in Disney, being that we are from NY, I do anticipate a lot of those people not coming. Which is fine by me!

But where should I even begin? This is all so nerve wracking!

I'd say figure out what your budget is. Then decide on a date (doesn't need to be down to the day, but a general idea) and which package you're looking at.

It is the Disney Bride's Bible and it will really help you throughout the entire process!

thank you!! I am so ordering that book ASAP. I have an idea of when we're looking to do this (from October 2014 anywhere until March 2015, it's a wide range) so I'm wondering if it's too soon really to start planning.

Budget is the best place to start.

It's never too soon to start planning. The more prepared you are, the smoother it will go when you start working with Disney. (And you can re-download the Passporter for free whenever it gets updated with new prices and policies.)

We started with budget, but we had no information on costs until we found the Passporter. I honestly don't know how we would have even been able to put together a budget without the Passporter.
