Where to eat??

Friends will be joining us at MK midday, however they are not resort guests. We would like a nice place for a midday meal, not fast food. Can we leave MK and use the monorail if they aren't guests? Are any resorts within walking distance that serve a nice lunch? Thanks for the help!

yes, you all will be able to use the transportation system. the only resort w/in walking distance is the contemporary. how about taking the boat to wilderness lodge for whispering canyon cafe? this place can be rowdy! then of course there are the polynesian and grand floridian. have you checked the menus at www.wdwig.com this might be helpful in selecting a place. happy eating!

yes you can use the transportation.

Pecos bills is the best counterservice in all of WDW and its right there in the MK.

if you want to check out a resort, then hop the boat to WL and whispering canyon, although breakfast is the best meal there. or eat at 1900 park fare at GF, just to take a peak at it.
