I am trying to decide what to do about dinner on our 1st night in DW. If everything is on time, our flight gets to Orlando at 5:40 at night. I don't know if I should make ADRs because you never know about the flights. I don't want to make anything too late because I have my DD6 with us, and she will want to eat right away. We are staying at the Swan. Any reccommendations that may not need ADRs? Thanks! :)

We arrive at our hotel (CBR) by about 3pm the first day and we have ressies at Ohanas for 7:15pm

but if you flight does not get in til 5:40 - it will be about anotehr 2 hours probably til you get to your hotel right?

I would just eat at your hotel quick the first night? NO?

I agree. The fastest, simplest thing possible would be best under those conditions. You have your whole vaca to knock her socks off w/ magic :wizard:

Probably anything in DTD should be okay...Your daughter would probably like the Rainforest Cafe. It's alot of fun for kids, great atmosphere...There's also a restaurant right inside the Swan called Palio's...supposedly great food and italian singers come around to the tables! Beaches N Cream is just a walk away at the Beach Club and a quick service place to grab a burger (the best I've ever had) and a delicious sundae (home of the "kitchen sink"). Another place just a walk away at the Boardwalk that you wouldnt need ADR's is ESPN Grill (and open late) and the Big River Brewing Works. Hope I can help and good luck!

Beaches & Cream... Beaches & Cream... BEACHES & CREAM!! :teeth: :rotfl: :teeth:

We're getting in around 5pm too, and our plans to have our first laid back, unreserved dinner there too! It will be a short walk to the Beach Club from the Swan. I also loved the burgers, and the onion rings are amazing! If you're looking for a smaller sundae than the Kitchen Sink, I HIGHLY recommend the No Way Jose sundae!!!! :cloud9:

GO FOR IT!!! :cheer2:
