We are splitting our stay--first 5 nights at WL and next 4 nights at Yacht Club. We have DS 2 1/2 and DD 4 1/2 both very active and need entertainment to sit for dinner. I have come up with my PSs for the nights we are at WL, but I am having a hard time deciding where to eat while we are at Yacht Club. We are going in mid September. Can you help me finish my list please???

Sat --Chef Mickey's dinner

Sunday---Hoop Dee Doo Review

Monday--Boma's dinner

Tuesday--CRT--breakfast
LTT --dinner

Wednesday--switch to Yacht Club
Garden Grille dinner

Thursday ---Cape May Character breakfast
Dinner ???????????? :bounce:
(we want to do Fantasmic this night)
(I was thinking Sci Fi, but it sounds better for lunch
a different day)

Friday----Princess Storybook breakfast
(we will probably take monorail to MK for a while and then come back for Illuminations)
Dinner??????????:bounce:

Saturday----dinner??????? doing AKL in am and then MGM or Epcot in evening:bounce:

The Biergarten in Germany is definitely kid friendly. it is a buffet with a show and the buffet has a lot of non-German choices.

A couple of restaurants to consider, around the Epcot resort loop, are Beaches and Cream and ESPN. Both are bustling, casual and are good for young kids. Hollywood and Vine, in MGM might be a good option and the buffet has good, kid-friendly food. H&V used to serve lunch, as well as dinner, but now they just serve dinner. You could do H&V as part of th Fantasmic dinner package, and then you would have the advantage of reserved seating (with little ones that can be a plus!). You already have a lot of character meals, and I personally would have a hard time with a week full of them. The options I am suggesting don't include characters, but are family-friendly and allow you to get in and out pretty quick.

My kids always enjoyed the show at the Biergarten when they were small, and there are alot of items kids like on the buffet (hot dogs, sometimes meatballs, lots of desserts). ESPN has alot of activity and lots of televisions, plus the service is usually pretty quick. I noticed you are doing Cape May for breakfast - when we were there for the dinner (seafood) buffet a few years ago, they covered the entire table with white paper and gave the kids crayons to color on the "tablecloth".

Sci-Fi is okay for dinner if you don't mind ordering lunch style food (burgers, sandwiches) - I've never tried any of their dinner entrees. The 50's Prime Time is another good choice with kids - the 4 1/2 year old is probably old enough to get a kick out of parents getting in trouble with the CM's.

Have a great time!

Yes to B&C or ESPN, both good for kids. Have never eaten at YC Galley but I read they have started serving dinner again. Your kids are pretty young but kids rule at most WDW restaurants. They may like Garden Grill in Epcot. My kids liked Pizza Planet in MGM  .

It looks like you're trying to save yourself "travel" time. You might want to consider O'hana's at the Polynesian for Monday instead of Boma and switch Boma to later in the week. Ohana's is a fun meal for the kids with coconut races and playing with hoola hoops.

Thursday I would recommend the Fantasmic Package and eat at Hollywood and Vine. It's a buffet, so the kids don't have to wait and neither will they wait as long in line for Fantasmic.

For Friday and Saturday, you could add Boma and the Biergarten in Germany has a polka band and polka-ing. The kids like this and it's also a buffet
