Where to eat, what to do.....

Me and my gf are off to DLP early September and are getiing AP's when we get there ( we have sponsership )

We've also decided which places we definately want to eat at some point on our stay after your rave reviews but aren't sure which we can book in advance, these are:

agrabah cafe
annette's diner
rainforest cafe
the lucky nugget saloon
plaze gardens

We definately want to do a character meal too which I know you can do at the last two.

But we're confused on what to do with booking ahead, some posts say 60 days, others say 90.

Also with booking ahead would we lose any discount due to us with our AP's, or do only some of the restaurants give this discount?

If this is so then we'd only book the character meal in advance then and book the rest on our first day as i think these would get busy.

Any help, advice, views or opinions are greatfully appreciated

I can't help with regards to the annual passes- As I haven't a clue!

All I know is that you cannot book Annettes or The Rainforest Cafe in advance... You just have to turn up and hope for a table!! (Which worked fine for me and my fiance...).... And I think you'd be wise to book any character meal that really wanted to do, like Plaza Gardens, as I remember a few people saying recently that they tried to book when they arrived but it was already fully booked for the duration of their stay.... Whilst Sept. isn't the busiest time of year, I would recommend booking anything you were desperate to do!!

Ok then we'll looks like i'll book up the character meals and leave trying to book the agrabah till Day 1 and see how it works out for the others

You would not lose any AP discount by booking ahead as you only need to present your AP at the restaurant. Of the restaurants you have listed you should get the discount at all except the rainforest cafe
