So we're semi-local and lucky to have passes pretty much to everywhere (Disney, Universal, Seaworld). Tomorrow my DH and older teens will be at HHN so tomorrow is a day for just me and my 5 year old. I'm leaning towards spending the day at Seaworld since they have a Halloween thing. But in the evening, if I'm not too tired, we might head over to Disney.

I need some ideas for dinner pretty much anywhere. The only thing I know I don't want is any character meals anywhere (he's never been and DH would kill me if I took him without him). QS is fine since money is tight, but I'm not opposed to better if it's not too crazy.

He's seen Wishes which he adores and he's seen Illuminations. I thought about Epcot again but I'm thinking with the F&W going on, a Saturday night with a little one might not be great. We've never seen Fantasmic so that might be a possibility.

If all else fails we could just hit up McD's  I'm just drawing a blank and thought someone might have a suggestion for tomorrow since it's just us 2. :upsidedow

I guess it depends on where you could get in for TS with such short notice. What about Beaches and Cream? You can end your meal with a sundae!

How about a QS at DHS before Fantasmic? I just checked and all of the TS restaurants have early availability for 2 as well - maybe Sci-Fi or 50's Prime Time would be fun? I love the Beaches and Cream idea, too! You could eat there and still head over to Fantasmic! Now I want to go to Beaches and Cream!!

Im not really sure what beaches and cream is :)

If you are on the DDP (I know; you're not) it is technically a TS location, but I'd put it similar to the Plaza in MK: a glorified sandwich shop with great big ice cream desserts. A very good place to go to when you are going to pay oop. And they don't take reservations.

Check the menu at www.allears.net. From the drop-down menu for WDW, click on Dining; then click on the link to current menus with prices. Beaches & Cream is listed under the Beach Club resort. Split a sandwich and a side of fries, and then split one of the ice cream creations. Then take the boat to DHS and try for F! if he hasn't fallen asleep (actually, the sugar high from the ice cream should carry him through the F! show).

you can try to walk up to scifi for a burger and shake ,maybe sit at one of the tables they have in there , or mama melrose and share a big plate of pasta, the chickenn pepette is great and kid friendly or head over to Pizza Planet , i'm sure the 5yr old will love that with an ice cream or one of thick shakes from the dockside dinner , all in DHS so u will save time and see fantasmic ( best show on property)

Thanks ya'll!

Well darn it, now I'm not sure what were gonna do. It's POURING out. Apparently supposed to be like that all day. Bleh

I know, I'm sitting here debating it, lol. But it's an hour and a half drive for me and my car window broke last week and won't go up. :lmao:

Never tried a poncho in the car!
