It has been a couple of years since we have visited WDW, and I understand many of the QS places in DHS have made major menu changes in recent months. I am looking for QS dining suggestions.

Starring Roles is great.
If you have kids then Pizza Planet.
I did not enjoy any of the other CS locations here.

Thank you so far. My family likes Pizza Planet- who can go wrong with pizza? I was the rare person that liked the ABC Commisary, but I always got the cuban sandwich. I hear that sandwich is gone, so funny that someone suggests it.

Fairfax Faire? I need to check it out.

IMO ABC Commissary has not been good since they got rid of the Cuban sandwich.
That was several years ago at this point.

I am always surprised when people recommend it, but I think it is because there is not much else and every forgets about Starring Roles.
The have a killer Black Forest Ham Sandwich on Focaccia and a great selection of cupcakes.

One of our personal favorites is Min and Bill's Dockside Diner. They have awesome chicken Ceasar wraps in French bread...yummmmmy

This year we ate at Backlot Express-it is kind of tucked away and I think it may be near Star Tours. It has a ton of seating (both indoor and outdoor) and the food is pretty basic-I had chicken fingers. But, they do have a veggie sandwhich which my dad liked. Plus, the theming is cool and we just really like the atmosphere!

My family loves Pizza Planet and with the dining plan you can get the combo - pizza, salad and a great cookie. I'll have to check out Fairfax myself. Of all the parks I think HS is the hardest for CS but maybe I just need to look harder....haven't tried Starring Rolls yet either.....I think I will this trip!

We always do Pizza Planet, like previous posters have stated, good amount of food for your money. ABC Comissary is nice because it seems like it's alot less busy than the others(at least it was when we were there). I agree that DHS is the hardest park to find a great QS place to eat, I also have a hard time with TS restaurants too after having a bad experience at 50's Primetime last year we are going outside the park to eat nest trip.

On the very rare occasions I eat CS in HS, I always go with Starring Rolls. They have really good sandwiches...and the cupcakes...:cloud9:

We also ate at Backlot Express, and this previous poster is right....the atmosphere is fun, lots to look at.
Now I won't dare tell you it's top of the line cuisine, but the hamburgers are pretty darn good, decent sized and the fries aren't bad.

If your anything like me you spend most of your trip avoiding eating nothing but burgers and fries, so this is a good way to get that burger in if you so desire. :goodvibes

The best part about this place concerning food and drink is the fact you get to fill your cup as many times as you want for drink.
That's right folks, you get to refill your own soda like an adult! You have total access to the soda fountain.

I will say if it's busy this place will be packed and you'll have to stalk a table to see who's about to leave and then jump on it as quick as possible. My DH found this place and I can't say I was unhappy about it since I was at loss for a good place there to eat, not to mention he likes his diet soda and needs his caffeine jolt for the day.

If your looking for some place that has something better than hamburgers then Starring Rolls is the place to be just like other posters here have stated, it's not an extensive menu but enough to get the job done. They do have really good cupcakes, try the peanut butter chocolate! :lovestruc If you don't like a lot of sugar then splitting one will even be to much for you. They put toooons of frosting on top, my dd11 thinks sugar is a food group and couldn't get through one, so be aware. :goodvibes

We have been checking out the menus online and the new menu for Studios Catering Company sounds really good, so that is going to be our choice this year... but of course we are still gonna stop by Starring Rolls for a cupcake!!!

We ate at the Studio Catering Company during our August trip.

The buffalo chicken sandwich and turkey club were very good. This was one of the bet QS meals we had the whole (2 week) trip.

We didn't eat there in August, but I was surprised at the BBQ variety at Fairfax Fair, with half chicken and ribs combo plate with baked beans and cole slaw, for example. It smelled terrific, and if we weren't heading for Kouzzina for dinner, I would have been very tempted to try it out! I usually think DHS has abysmal choices for cs, but will remember Fairfax Fair.

YUM Now I am in the mood for a big cupcake and coffee and Starring Rolls, some bbq at Fairfax Faire, and a refillable drink at the Backlot. Thank you for all of these suggestions.

I remember Fairfax Faire from 2 years ago, but I think I got a hamburger there at the time. I looked up their menu and it looks really tasty.
