We plan on checkng into POP early evening of our first night. I would love some suggestions on a nice restaurant. We won't check into the WL until the next morning, so we won't have our tickets to the parks yet.

Our ADR's are:

LTT
Chef Mickey's
Rainforest Cafe
Crystal Palace
Concourse Steakhouse
LeCellier
Alfredo's
WCC
50's PT
Sci-Fi

How about Ohana or the Kona Cafe? You could hop a bus to MK, get on the monorail and head over to the Poly for dinner!!! It's a lovely resort to wander around, and either restaurant would be a nice choice for your first night!:thumbsup2

I vote O'Hana, also.

The food is great, and you can see Wishes from the restaurant. They play the music from the show and dim the lights.

This is what we've done for our first night the last 2 trips.

Also, I LOVE the Grand Ceremonial House at the Poly!!!

We just walk around the lobby and get in the Disney mood right away!

I'd probably head to the Animal Kingdom Lodge and eat at Boma, great food and what a great way to start the holiday getting to see all those animals on the Savannah!

I was also going to suggest 'Ohana

We ALWAYS eat at Capn Jacks in DTD the first night. The food is good and the view is awesome. Enjoy

We thought about O'Hana. I didn't know about Wishes, though. That would be a great start to our trip. That would be May 31...I think Wishes starts at 10. What time would you guys suggest for an ADR it we want to see Wishes?

I would say 9:15 for the ressie. It is recommended that you show up 15 minutes before your reservation. The food comes out pretty quick but I think tat 9:15 is a good time to have your reservation if Wishes starts at 10.

Have fun!:yay:

I always eat at Boma the first night, but Ohana is really good too.

My order of preference:

Yachtsman Steakhouse--YC.
O'Hana's--Poly
Concourse Steakhouse--CR
Boma's--AK
Narcosee's--GF

We ate at Cali Grill our first night and it was magical. The fire works were spectacular from there and the food was fabulous. It really is not a place for kids though, but if it's just adults it was wonderful.
