Where to eat lunch in Boardwalk area?

Haven't been to Fresh, but it sounds like a good option if you're looking for a big meal.

People who have been to MVMCP in the past few years have posted that you can get in after 4PM with just the MVMCP ticket. If that's the policy for this year, you actually do have the option of eating at MK, if there are reservations left.

We are fans of ESPN and actually have done room service and it was very good, as well.

If you like sports, especially football, you have to do ESPN. On a Sunday afternoon in the heart of football season it will be paradise in there. Great way to combine food with sports, while visiting Disney.

Normally, I would say go to ESPN (I'm slightly biased after working there.) BUT -- and this is a big but -- I noticed that you're getting in on a Sunday.

My recommendation is that unless you're going primarily to see an NFL game, stay away from ESPN on a Sunday. People start lining up at 10:00 for the 11:00 games, and it stays busy all day long. It's not uncommon at all (on SUNDAYS -- and some Saturdays, depending on the College games. During the week is never a problem!) for waits to be more than an hour, sometimes as many as two or three. The same goes for Monday Nights during football season -- ESPECIALLY if the Bucs, Jaguars, Eagles, Giants or Dolphins are playing.

I did notice, though, that you don't have any plans for dinner on Friday night.... :) pinkminnie isn't kidding when she says the tuna pita is crave-worthy -- I get cravings for it all the time! The grilled portobello sandwich with red peppers and two kinds of cheese is another favorite, and I don't know anyone who doesn't like the hot roast beef sandwich! (They also make great milkshakes!)

ESPN, anf Yacht Club Galley are my two choices. You can get sandwiches or a nice meal at the Galley. You can't go wrong with either choice. Paulette

Wow! Thanks for all the great suggestions. I know my hubby and StepDad would love ESPN, but I don't want it to be busy. Beaches and Cream sounds good too.

About eating in the MK - I am so nervous we will get to the MK late because we are waiting for our room. I don't want to leave the Boardwalk until we are checked into our room, I can't imagine just getting our room after Midnight after being at the party all night. So, I really hope we get at least a 3:00 check-in (I know check in isn't until 4:00, just really hoping).

Decisions, Decisions!!!

I had to chime in about that tuna pita sandwich at ESPN - absolutely fabulous! We've eaten there for lunch and for dinner and found the food and the experience quite enjoyable.

I also like the Brewing Company, but I believe the items there may be a bit pricier than at ESPN (but you can't beat their beer!).

I don't think you could go wrong with either choice!
