Where to eat in the parks...need help...

where should we make PS's for Disneyland.
I already know Blue Bayou (its a tradition) but where else is there to eat in the parks that we can make a PS for?

The Blue Bayou is the only large full service restaurant at Disneyland. There is the small Carnation Cafe, outside on Main St. that has waitress service but it doesn;t have PS that I know of. They serve sandwiches and bread bowl type items. The rest of the restaurants at Disneyland are some sort of counter service or another with The Plaza Inn, Ranco del Zacolo and Red Rockets being what they call the Scramble system. Beleive me, if you go into one of these when it just opens and is crowded you will understand the meaning of the word scramble!!!

thanks.....we have eaten at all the restaurants you mentioned. What about DCA?? any sitdowns there other than Avalon?

There are a few places in DCA (Soap Opera Bistro, Tratoria, etc) but I really prefer Avalon Cove over them all - esp if you have kids - the character dinner is really fun there!

we don't have kids and I read that Soap Opera Bistro is closed. We ate there last year and really enjoyed it.

Last year we tried the Plaza Inn for breakfast with the Pooh and friends charaters there. I loved it, it was sooo good. I dont think you need PS for that we walked right up. Mmmmm Micky waffles. I cant wait for Dec!

<font color=navy>You don't need PS for Plaza Inn, and you can get them for Carnation Plaza ....

You can also get them at the Vineyard Room @ the Golden Winery in DCA, but I've never tried it before.

Also, keep in mind there are a lot of delish restaurants in Downtown Disney & the hotels that accept PS's, and I do recommend that you get one if you're going to eat at prime time.
