Where to eat CS in AK?

We have also eaten at Tusker House but I've read that when we will be there in Oct. they are converting it to ts SO, Now I don't know where to eat. WE have tried both Flame Tree and Pizzafari and did not care for them. Any suggestions or are we out of luck?

How about Rain Forest Cafe? It's not part of DDP but there is a wide selection and it is attached to the park.

We like Pizzafari, but you might try the CS place in Asia, over near the Kali Rapids. There's not much other choice besides the CS you named and the McDonald's in Dinoland.

I'm surprised you didn't like the Flame Tree BBQ. That is probably one of our most favorite CS meals for a few reasons.

First, the BBQ Chicken Salad is really good if you've never tried it. It's a nice lighter lunch when you're in the sometimes very hot and humid Animal Kingdom.

Second, the atmosphere. If you take your meals and walk down the pathway you'll find a very nice seating area down by the water. It's what my wife and I call "our happy place" so when we're at home and having a tough day at work we always think of sitting down there relaxing. It used to be more quiet until Everest showed up, but still a nice place.

Finally, there's not many other good choices in our view. Tusker House is nice but kind of plain jane when it comes to atmosphere. Rainforest Café is cool, but a little more pricey. Pizzafari is ok, but I don't find myself wanting to eat Pizza when I'm in Disney so I usually bypass that one.

The choices are somewhat limited in the Animal Kingdom, at least until they get the "Yak and Yeti" restaurant built near Everest (which I'm told will be a sit down and CS.)
