I know it is really early for this but I am trying to get an idea of places to eat for our Christmas trip. Specifically need to know what would be the best place to eat Christmas day. OF course we will want the traditional meal. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Lori

You might want to try for a restaurant outside of the parks. If the park you want to enter is closed because it is full, you will not be able to enter.

We were there for Christmas Day this year and had a wonderful meal at Artist Point in WL. The resort looked so festive for the holiday and the fireplace just made it even better. The meal was wonderful as was the service and we had decided not to go to a park that day as it was our arrival day. We shopped at DTD, relaxed then had a great dinner. We were done early enough to hit MK(it was open until 12 at least and it may have had EMH?) via the boat from WL (around 10pm), and do some late night riding, but we opted out to get good nite sleep for the next touring day. Great family dinner for the holiday.

Well, it isn't really "traditional" but for our recent trip, we ate at Les Chefs de France on Christmas night as part of the Candlelight Procession package and were able to use the Dining Plan with it. After dinner was the Candlelight Procession event which was narrated by John Stamos. The choirs, the lights and beautiful decorations created a lifetime memory.

It was absolutely beautiful and should be on everyone's "must do" list if visiting during the holidays.

I would vote for Whispering Canyon at WL.

How about resort restaurants? Do any of them have the traditional Turkey and dressing type meal? Or do you have any suggestions for someplace offsite?

Do Artist Point or Whispering Canyon have turkey & dressing and such? I really do want to be able to have turkey on Christmas day.

This past Xmas we had ressies at Yacht Club Galley at 2pm---found out upon arrival that Xmas dinner buffet didn't start until 4pm---we really wanted the turkey and dressing type dinner---Trails End at Fort Wilderness had an excellent buffet (traditional) starting much earlier (noon)

Definitely Liberty Tree Tavern.

This past year (05), we ate at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian. They had turkey with all the trimmings. It was really good! We especially loved the strawberry soup. The character interaction was great as well. We also love the gingerbread house in the lobby. I would highly recommend it!

I would suggest the WCC for dinner. It was very good and actually tasted better than the picture looks!
