:wizard: I love eating at places at Disney. I have been to a few character meals and a few sit down meals. This is going to be my first full week for as long as i can remember. I would like to know what relaxing family meals, fun for the kids where they won't even care about the food, one for all the family to have a great time ,also places that are unique. We are going to have a lot of meals in 1 week, but I would like to eat out half of the time.

We have lots of family favorites. I would start by taking a look at the menus online (All Ears has a nice collection), decide what kind of food interests you, and then you should start asking more specific questions about theme, taste, etc. Let us know what parks/resorts you'll be at, what meal you'll eat (B/L/D), and more about your group (ages, gender, character interests, etc.). Also, I recommend checking out the Restaurants Board here on the DIS. Many people there will be able to answer questions and offer opinions. Happy Planning! :goodvibes

Oh - and :welcome: to the DIS!

My Kids favorites were SciFI cafe (if you go take a photo with flash off come out much cooler) Ohana Breakfast, CRT Lunch we ate late 2:05 so we didnt feel rushed, and Boma. Actualy they like everthing but these are the ones they liked best. None of them want to go back to Disney Studios for the attractions but are asking to go back for Scifi.

I am moving this over to our Restaurant Board where you will find lots of information on Disney Restaurants..

Try the new T-Rex restaurant at Downtown Disney! Pretty cool place to eat...fun atmosphere, and the food was really good. If you have young kids, though, be prepared...there's a Build-a-Dino just outside the restaurant, which is really hard for kids to resist ;)

For character meals we like Garden Grill at Epcot, Tusker breakfast, Ohana's for breakfast...I am going to miss these in Nov...we are getting the Quick Service plan this time around

Chef Mickey's is sure to be a good time!

We have young kids, and our favorite character meals are the Princess Storybook in Epcot, Donald's Safari Breakfast in AK, and Crystal Palace in MK (although I'm sad that they'll be closed while we're there this time!).
