Where To Eat At Universal?

Our family will be headed to Disney and Universal next week...I've got all food planned for Disney, but need some recommendations on where we should eat in Universal....we have 2 kids, 12 & 10 and are looking for something not real pricey, but good...Thanks!!

We like eating at Mels Drive In when we go. Cute theme (50s) and they have burgers and usual type food. Not real cheap but not expensive as far as theme park food goes.

Also a reminder. If you have a AAA card they will give you 10% off at the restaurants and most of the stores in Universal..

Mel's Drive-In is pretty gross. I try to stay away from it. Try Ricther's or the Beverly Hill Boulegerie at USF. At IOA, try Mythos, Enchanted Oak Terrace, Fire Eater's Grill, or Burger Digs.

We always eat at the fish and chips place at Universal. I believe it's over by Jaws if I remember right. It's always been fresh and tasty. This next time I'd kind of like to try Monsters Cafe as my 5 year old loves monsters. Does anyone have access to a menu?

Enchanted Oak at IOA has really great ribs and chicken for a decent price. Portions are very generous here. Nice atmosphere and a bar is attached with a daily happy hour. Mythos will be on the pricey side and I can't recommend it as that has kept us from trying it ourselves. Monsters Cafe at US also has great atmosphere at a good price. We take our 11 and 7 year olds there all the time and they like it. Sorry, I don't know a link to a menu for the previous poster.

Add Margarita ville to your list. Great ent. for the kids and you will love the prices. The food is great. Everything from chicken sand. to burgers and great steaks! A very family friendly place.
