Where to eat at MK and MGM for Dinner

OK i'm looking for a sitdown dinner place at MK- not expensive but decent food - it'll be my husband and I and two boys 4 & 6. not with characters just a place to Sit and get served

As for MGM i'm thinking Sci-Fi for lunch any opinions? Do i need reservations? as for dinner i'm thinking of bring food in while waiting for Fantasmic show to keep the kids occupied while waiting they can eat!

Table service w/o characters in MK would be at Tony's (italian food) Town Square, & The Plaza restaurant (hamburgers, sandwiches, ice cream) I think that's it...Tonys is expensive & The Plaza is more reasonable.

As for sci fi it hear it s good for lunch..we will be trying it for the first time this August! And yes you should make adr's for all your TS meals.

Try looking over the menus on allearsnet.com. You may want to consider one of the MK resorts for a meal. Great variety to choose from.
For the Studios I highly recommend the 50's Prime Time Cafe. Great food with large portions, and a great show while you are eating.

I would NOT do SciFi. The reviews are not good. I've been there - albeit a while ago, but I would not recommend it. I would try Prime Time Cafe. It's kitchy, fun, and the food is pretty good - "home" kind of cooking.

As for the MK, you are very limited. This trip, I am going to try Terrace Noodle Station for lunch and Crystal Palace for dinner. CP does have characters (Pooh and friends), but I found the dinner time food to be pretty satisfying for the cost. Terrace Noodle Station is not "sit down", but it is different and not usually very crowded. I don't think a lot of people realize it is there or something.
