We have eatten at Sci FI in the past. We will be on the DDP. My girls are picky. They will be able to eat from the Adult menu. I don't know where we should eat. Any suggestions? We will have a table service credit to use there.

Day one arrive...go to Epcot & WCC for a late dinner
Day two....MK and eat around 5 at CP....stay for MVMCP:santa:
Day three....breakfast at CM then head to AK
Day four.....MGM.....eat ???
Day five.....where ever eveyone wants to go......eat ???

Do not really want to use two TS credit for a dinner.
Any suggestions??? Thanks!

Are you planning to see Fantasmic while at MGM? If so, my suggestion would be to use your 1 TS credit for either Mama Melrose or Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Dinner Package. You can view menus for both at www.allearsnet.com or here on the DIS. Personally, I haven't eaten at either but if I was wanting to see Fantasmic and I had kids, I would do the package.

If not bothered about Fantasmic, my choice would be 50s Prime Time.

I'm assuming you don't want to go back to Sci-Fi, although it's one of my favorites I'm not recommending that. How about 50s PT? A lot of basics on the menu so I think even a picky eater could find something:cutie: The other option using 1 TS credit would be H&V. That is a buffet and might be a good option for picky eaters as well.

I am traveling with my parents also, in the 70's. I was debating about 50's PT & H&V.......

Sci Fi is good. Loved the atmosphere.......just looking for something different this time. Must take advantage of the DDP and try new places.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will check out the menus!!

50s prime time

the menu has a lot to choose from, the food is very good, the theming is excellent, and if you get a lively waitress, it's a lot of fun!

:yay:

I have not done a TS meal at MGM since the old Soundstage Character Breakfast. This trip we will do Hollywood and Vine for breakfast, but the past couple of trips I always planned for us to tour Disney Studios in the afternoon and then head over to the EPCOT resort area to eat dinner at one of their restaurants (Cape May, Spoodles, etc.) for dinner.

Also ABC Commissary is a rather nice counter service meal.

Mama Melrose is a really good place to eat. If your planning on doing Fantasmic, then Mama Melrose is a good italian place to eat! My family and I have eaten there 2 times and are eating when we go back in June. Staff is really good and the food is really good too. Its a good family resturant.:cool1:

Personally we don't care for any of the TS at MGM. How about taking the boat over to Boardwalk area and trying Cape May Buffet, Spoodles, or ESPN Club.

I have to admit.....I never thought of taking the boat over to the Boardwalk area. To be perfectly honest, I have never been there!! We have been to DW a lot and I have never explored that area. I will check out the menus!!

Thanks!
