We are arriving ar CR in the afternoon and need to eat somewhere that night, no parks. We want to stick close so we can rest up for a big day at MK but we want to have a decent meal without breaking the bank. Our DDP starts the next day (room only for the nite). So, I was considering on of the resorts close by but which one would you suggest? the girls are 2,4,5 and there are 7 of us. Thanks!

I would suggest Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club. We really enjoy it but find it to not be a good value on the dining plan since it is considered a table service. The No Way Jose is so worth it!!!!

Hmmm... last time I checked, Beaches and Cream was 3 miles from CR. :)

So instead, I'd suggest you take the boat over from CR to the WL, and have dinner at the wonderful Whispering Canyon Cafe. It is one of the quintessential Disney dining experiences, and would be especially great fun for your crew! The food is very good.

We like Kona at Poly. We like the food, it's close to the Contemp., pretty low key, not too expensive and has awesome desserts.
Have fun!!

thanks, we were thinking WCC but I wanted so see other options. Kona might be nice but we are definitely going there for Tonga toast one am so I hesitate to repeat. Is there any good places at GF that are "value" concious? Ha Ha. how is the food court there? better than CR?

What about Trail's End at Fort Wilderness? $17.99A/$9.99C
Or just get something at the Food & Fun Center, or take the bus over to Downtown Disney and eat at Earl of Sandwich or Wolgang Puck's Cafe?
