I have an old ticket that I need to upgrade to a RFID ticket. Can I do this at our resort at check in or do I have to do this at the front of a park or downtown?

You can have it converted at your resort's concierge desk, guest relations, or at a ticket booth.

I scanned my old ticket into MDE. I will carry it with me just in case, but was not planning to convert since I will use the band to enter the park.

I didn't know you could scan it into MDE, so I didn't even try. Does this mean I will be able to book fast passes(we are staying at the Yacht Club)?

If it has a bar code on the back it should be scannable; if just a number, try entering that. Not sure how old is old...mine were about three years old.

Woohoo!!!!!! :dance3: Thank you, thank you, thank you, I scanned my ticket!!!!! YAY! Now I will be able to book fast passes with the rest of my family!! :cheer2:

I have old 10 day non expire passes that have not been used yet. We only want to use two days. How does that work with the magic band? Will my ticket still show I have 8 days left once we leave WDW?

1- How does that work with the magic band?

2- Will my ticket still show I have 8 days left once we leave WDW?

1- When you enter the ticket into your MyDisneyExperience (MDE) account file, it will
then be available for use with your MagicBand.

If you only use 2 days on the next trip, your MDE file will still retain the
ticket information of the remaining 8 days, ready for future use.

2- Yes.

Oh, OK thanks! I haven't used a MagicBand yet (August will be our first time) and I am not familiar with the MDE account file, but I assume that will be explained when we receive the MagicBands. Thanks! That is good to know :)

No need to wait for anything.

Right now, go to MDE HERE, sign up for an account, and add your ticket numbers to the file.
