We had ressies for Aug 10-17, but neglected to check w/DH employer before we booked. Found out today that he couldn't go that week, so luckily we were able to push the trip back 1 week. Now we will be in WDW for DS 14th birthday. Our original ADR's were: Le Cellier, Coral Reef, WCC, 50's Prime Time, Crystal Palace, Boma, & Mama Melrose. Since I have to start over for the new week, I was wondering where would be a great place to celebrate. I was thinking WCC would be fun for him, but any suggestions would be great. I haven't made any ADR's for the new week yet, so they don't have to be the ones I listed. Thanks!!!

I think Coral Reef would be cool! My brother saw the pics and can't wait to eat there! Also last year my friend celebrated hers at Boma. What about something in the World Showcase?

We will be there in early August on my DDs 14th b-day. She has chosen to eat at 1900 PF for dinner on her b-day because she loves:love: prince charming there. Hmm....not sure if your DS would love having dinner there.

For a boy, I would probably try WCC if you're looking for fun. My DS10 would pick Shula's for his b-day dinner though. He loves that place!

So what day is your DS's b-day? My DD's is Aug. 2.

We are celebrating my son's birthday when we go in June. He is 15 now and he chose Le Cellier for his birthday dinner. I think for a teenage boy character meals and Hoop De Doo might be a bit much IMO. Coral Reef (you could get the diver to do Happy Birthday sign) sounds like a good idea. My son loves Boma too.

We are doing Coral Reef with the diver and personalized menu for ds 13th bday in August. He knows nothing about the diver but he has looked at the pictures and says that the place looks really cool.

My DS (14) loved the Coral Reef on our last trip :thumbsup2 Great food but even better was the divers and the ocean life. His dream is to go to Discovery Cove which I hope to make come true on his 16th birthday :wizard:

It really depends on what your DS is into. My DS loves anything to do with animals and water so the Coral Reef was an obvious choice for him. He'd spend hours in the Living Seas exhibit if we'd let him ;)

However for some teens sports are a major attraction so the ESPN club would be a better choice. WCC is a hoot but sometimes better than others.

Good luck with your choice!

Do Coral Reef and call to request a diver to hold up a "Happy Birthday" sign with your son's name on it and get a personalized menu with pictures of him. Also, you can even order a :cake: to have for him there. My DS will be turning 16 and that is where he wanted to celebrate his birthday. Enjoy!

I let my DD14 pick her birthday meal for our trip this past January. For her, it was Le Cellier. :yay: I told the CM when I was making my ADR that it was for her birthday meal. When dessert time came, out came our server with a beautiful chocolate moose cup with Happy Birthday written on the plate. It was awesome.
