In the past, I've always just bought white shirts from Wal-Mart. I'd really like to try some colors this year though. I hate the idea of searching through stores to find shirts that match. Are there any good websites to order shirts from at a cost comparable to Wal-Mart?

I just ordered some shirts from jiffyshirts.com. They have a huge selection and the shipping is really fast. They are supposed to be here Monday so I can't yet comment on the quality (although I ordered Hanes and Fruit of the Loom so they should be good). The price is good though.

Thanks. I'm checking out their site tonight. Would you mind letting me know about quality/how true to size they are when you get them? Thanks!

Sure! They will be here tomorrow and I'll wash them tomorrow night. I can tell you that there was a recent post where someone said they had ordered Gildan brand shirts from jiffyshirts.com and they had shrunk a lot. I didn't order that brand, so I'll let you know about mine after they are washed and dried.

That was me! That brand mens shirts (it was one of the cheapest) shrunk up when I washed them. They seemed like good, thick quality shirts, but I just wish I had known and ordered a size larger.

Their shipping is incredibly fast!

I like shirtsupplier.com better than jiffyshirt.com. I ordered from both. Found a pinhole or two in some of my shirts from jiffyshirt.com - none from shirtsupplier. Plus I liked the return policy for shirtsupplier more than j/s. I made more than 70 shirts - most purchased from these 2 supply houses but a few from Wal-mart, Dollar Tree, and even Michaels when I got down to the final few.

The shirts I ordered from Jiffyshirts.com came today!! They were all great quality!

I measured them before I washed them (because I wanted to be accurate about how much they shrank) and they measured exactly what the website said they would (in the size chart where it lists body length and body width). However, after I washed them in warm water and dried them on medium heat, they had shrunk about 1 1/2 inches in length and 1 inch in width. This was not a problem for me since I had taken shrinkage into account.

So, I have no complaints with the shirts I ordered. If you decide to order, be sure to factor in shrinkage or wash in cold. I think the cotton shirts shrinking is universal though, not just that website.

I ordered Fruit of the Loom and Hanes Heavyweight.

I like shirtsupplier.com too. But wanted to comment that some shirts are preshrunk and others aren't. It's important to watch for this as you buy your shirts from whatever source. A cotton shirt that has not been preshrunk will shrink quite a bit with the first washing, especially if you use warm water and medium heat.

I had no shrinkage problems with any of the shirts I bought... just pinholes (mostly on the sleeve area) from one of the brands from jiffyshirts (just don't recall which one - I used Gildan, Anvil, Jerzees, and one or two other brands).
