mytwotinks--- I wondered that myself since it was taking by photopass. I would guess they would do the princesses from BBB if they were there. But I think they would take your pics. They only have that one background though. I found that the photopass people this time would take as many pics as you wanted if no one was waiting. Most times we have a few of the same shot so we are almost guaranteed a good pic. This is really new there so I would give it a shot.

I just went back and counted my pics. I have 19 in the Sleeping Beauty dress and 20 shots in the Belle dress. That is how I got so many on my photopass. I knew there were alot but wow.

Yak--Yes I know it can never be to hot. Think snow.....

Minnie-- We got that a lot at the park. Even though we bought it there. It is Belle's Christmas dress I think. That's the one she wanted. People only know when they looked at the crown or heart on the dress. Maybe she should she wear it in our Christmas photos.

... ..you guys sure had a magical vacation...

i don't think i 'll ever tired of reading....i hope others picked up on
your taking the time out..to enjoyed what disney meant for your
kids...the best was wishes..[it something to catch one's breath,
smell the roses {for me,that = sugar & spices} and share the moment.


...those were some special feelings you was talking about..i'm glad
you was able to relived them...sorta make me wish you all were
still there!]

ahhhhhhh, now ain't you glad you let your daughter wear her princess
dresses?..they may have cost a pretty penny but what priceless souvineers
they now are!

we had a similar experience...back in 92... however, we got
stuck with . he happened to be our middle son's favorite so he was
on !

my take on the lil extra costs...can't matched the feelings it gave
your son...since it came from disney world..it will always be "treasured"!
..esp..since his mom & dad thought "he" deserved such an expensive
souviner.

..to eased your wondering....i had no specific image in mind..rather the
ways you in & out..i thought maybe,you was a of
my imagination...so when you posted the first picture..ha! you are a real
! does that make sense?


..my lil miss has been dieting like crazy..for this trip....i thought of
surprising her with an adult princess costume..& getting her pic with jordan
but we're cruising and she killed me! what would be neat if they had
adults costumes so mothers & daughter could dressed up..at the
salon? ..sorta like they do the western or gangster thingy...see? then i
could get her some "real" ear rings to go with it....

their photopass..they took 147 pics..and you got 'em on one disk? ..even the
salon pics too?..that's a great idea!

..i hate to see your report ending...look at how many adventures
and childhood memories you filled your new camper with! & tailgating @ port
orelans..was just plain styling..with lots of fun. i suspect in bout 20 years,
this trip report will be in reminisce the magazine.

Lil'G-- Yes we did have a magical trip. Nicholas couldn't wait to tell his friends what he got. Wouldn't have been able to bring it back if we didn't have the trailer with us. Your right it is special to him because of where he got it. Pirates and Princesses should have been my title. I was going to change it but I didn't want to make it hard for people to find. I am no Happyhaunt.

I never really like my picture taken but I do a Christmas Family one every year since Nicholas was born. It is amazing how one year changes a person and I am not talking only the little ones.

I am getting excited for you, about a week to go. Didn't you say your wife bought some new dresses for the trip. You will have to get some pics done yourself......

I will finish up my report before then. Maybe even today yet......I am starting to like this periods...........

Lets finish it up folks. Thanks for staying with me...

I think this is the first day we actually got to sleep in. We knew we didn't have a plane to catch and all we had to do is put our stuff back in the trailer. Hannah wanted the trundel bed and Nicholas wanted the call. Funny we never thought of putting it on speaker so she could hear. Nicholas liked to pick the phone up anyway. He doesn't get many phone calls so this is special for him.

Since we are not running anywhere we take our time getting ready. Our Mouse keeping was really good all week and she had a surprise waiting everyday for the kids. Towel animals, beds for the dolls and stuff animals, Dolls watching tv etc. She made a real cool shirt and tie with the pool towel since it had strips on it and the other towels. She left a note saying our bedspreads were changed etc. We wanted to leave something for her so we hunted down someone working on our level and asked if she was the one that we had all week. Hated to leave something and find out she was off or it wasn't her. I am writing Disney and telling them about who made our trip Magical.

Now I forgot to mention the kids have been running after all the lizards we see when we walk the paths. Some of them are pretty small. The kids keep telling us to watch and not step on the them. They are pretty fast and Nicholas wanted to catch one and bring it home. This is a kid that is scared of cats and dogs. I don't think the Border patrol would like that if he brought one home. And kids say the darnest things when you are crossing the border. Like do you have any fruit, no "yeah we have that apple Mom". So I am sure he would say he had a pet. Hannah loved feeding the ducks at the resort too. She even saved a hand full of popcorn from the parks just for them. So we spent a little time roaming the grounds again.They are just gorgeous. We still have 10 snacks left over so we go get them and decide we well stay for lunch. It is sticker shock when you have pay instead of our free dining card. I have my last Philly Cheese, Nicholas wants his Nachos, Hubby has prime rib sandwich, Hannah pizza and Grandma has ribs I think, These were our favourites from the food court. But we can not prolong this anymore. Everyone uses the restroom one last time. But where did Nicholas go....I sent hubby back in the washroom to see if he is there. He comes out and no he isn't there either. Now we are waiting just outside the door of the food court. Hannah with her great eye sight says there he is . Nicholas is in watching the big screen tv. Good thing we have Hannah because this is twice she saw him. We would have gone to the gift shop looking for him. Guess he doesn't want to leave either. But we know we will be back. When we don't know. Can't keep us away from this Magical Place.

We have memories and lots of pics to remember our summer at Disney. Though it was hot we survived it. The crowds were down, little waits in lines except for Soaring. That is what fastpasses are for. My kids got to do what they wanted to do. They grow up so fast, the princess will grow up but she will always be our princess. Our Pirate will move on to something else I am sure but this is what was important now and that is all the kids really know or care about is right now. I got to spend another summer with my Mother and that was important to me. I am glad hubby likes his mother in law and is happy to bring her along. She is special and would do anything for anyone. My hubby got what he wanted too. Just to be a kid again. He laughed, he played and he had the love of his family by his side. He works hard all year long and with out him we would not be here. We would not be the family we are without him, happy and and a little bit spoiled. Okay a lot spoiled. I know he loves me because he compromised with the trailer. I am not sure to many husbands would let you stay in a resort when you just bought a trailer. Okay I have to stop now because if I don't I may cry.

It takes a few days to get home. The weather really changes as we get further north. Now we are saying that the weather at Disney wasn't so bad because the nights are getting colder. Getting back across the border was easy, just had to say we spend a mint and they let us back into the country. Well we couldn't say that we didn't bring nothing back, then they would have searched us for sure because how can you go to Disney and not bring at least one thing home. They could have searched us they would have found a big boat, princess dresses and a Mr. Potato head. Plus some other small things.

It is still good to be back home in your own bed. We have been looking at all our pictures, Hannah has been wearing her Winnie the Pooh hair ponies to school and Nicholas has been playing pirate at home.We are missing Grandma since she lives hours away from us. Haven't seen her in almost three weeks now.

We are all re living it in our own way. Thank you for letting me relive it with you.

...i just like to say.. ..for sharing your family trek
to the place where dreams come true! ..ha, ain't i funny?..see?.. why
my wife who's all lady-like..keeps her walking distance..if you ever see
us..she'll be the saying, " who's that?! .. .. fella..he with
the family behind us."


actually, i'm very boring and simple. but coming from a traditional family..
full of characters-&-lil ..

[when there's 10 kids..you better learned quick! one such principle to go
by..#1feeling sorry for oneself....is ineffective coping...out the corner of my
eye...i could see my brothers raiding my plate while i was trying..to catch
..my parents' attentions..from pouting to attack mode...ooooohhhh i
understand division = little vacations x 10 LIL INDIANS...butter,butter
jam... the benefits ..were learning..thru experiences.. to over come any
obstacle...& making the most...of your . ha! you can't fool
me...it takes a really special family to do disney..camper style.. where the
#1 absloute requirment..parents caring and working together..that makes..
any disney childhood dream a reality.]



*can you tell its a hobby of mine to fade into the background &
the show? ..the benefit of being plain& simple..he..he!

accomplishment! p.s..nor was the missed on how

so as i turned the pages of life..today..i can't believe how many blessings
that have been part my of daily routines...everything from miracles to joys
beyond my childhood dreams...i just think there are great values in placing
faith in being a part of one's "family"........where communites are dependant
on and where our future generations are going?..iam now learning to
appricate the things my parents gave...every day. this is a time
for us...and we not waiting for it to changed! lil jordan is growing! ..

for me it's doing disney for my family. ....i'm so lucky to have
found someone that not only shared my life, my hopes and my dreams...
but we value each other feelings...she is my best matey!

and then came jordan...which drove us back to the magic kingdom..& she came out the blue {pink,as she would corrected me}...so just like this:
,our lives were blessed! i like to think it is all because i made just
enough right choices in living life...

can you tell?, i really enjoyed your wild disney adventure...

hey,,, your report was filled with some really cool tippos...if you ever
go on a cruise [plez do!]...we always start taking the sea sickness med
2 days prior...

Lil'G-- I know you are a good family man from all your posts. I did my best in writing this report. Even though we parted and went two different ways it was still a great family vacation. If we didn't someone would have been left out some how. It was cool to listen to Nicholas tell his sister about something he had done that day or vis versa. They are growing up indeed. I just hope when they are grown up with their own children they remember these times. The kids aready are asking when we can go again. And just between me and you, Nicholas told me hubby was at the cruise line desk at the hotel. I do believe I may see a cruise in my future. I am lucky I don't get sea sick. Been on many a boat being my dad was from Nova Scotia. The kids love the Magic too.

Thanks my friend for reading and encouraging me to write this report. I will be looking for yours on the cruise report board.

....oh, deb,..you were so right..your last pic..tells the whole story!

...jordan changed our lives in ways that were beyond anything i could
have imagined...she is why iam here...& she came soooo close of never
being..i always have pause, everyday i see her...and has opened my
eyes to alot of stuff i used to take for granted...

* once upon,a long time ago, i was part of a miracle that was set up
by experiences 20 years before that...i could not have been in the prefect
place at the prefect time....and the events that unfolded was so miraculous,
between life & death..where "hope" was the only intervention. in this
situation, it was death having all the cards..and the path was as narrow as
it could be...down to praying and acting on nothing but faith...however, it
would have never been...if the kindness of others hadn't gave me their
, then no miracle could have taken place..some 20 years later..

so..i am just saying..there's something to acting on faith....& i think
celebrating your family miracles at disney, was a great way to show
apprication...



what makes me excited...my wife planted some kind of flowering plant & it
must be loaded with nectar....there's all kings of honey bees, butterflies and
bunches of other lil critters..it so neat to watch all the action going on!
sometimes..magic..is right in your own backyard?

here's a secret..i hate the time right before our trips...i feel there're things
i should be doing but me> ....i not sure about doing a trip
report on this one...esp. since it mostly cruise..i don't think my format would
do well over there...and really, i 'm not a good writer.

Lil'G----You have a big heart. Marita is right your post was very sweet. I enjoyed reading your reports and really enjoyed just talking to you. Getting to know you and your family. I know it is just a cruise but I started over there and loved to read or see pictures and say oh we did that. I know what you mean about the feeling before you go away. All you can do is go with the flow my friend. Just remember underwear. I did that once, will never forget again. Besides I remember you saying you have lists. You will be fine. Let me know if you change your mind on the trip report wouldn't want to miss it. Does this mean I don't get to see your wife's new dress? Only a week to go.......Have a wonderful trip my friend bring back beautiful memories.

...ha! that backstage girl [threater major,hey?]....what so very
interesting..i was going to add a few comments bout the lil' mel-
stormers....it's a group that one could easily get the wrong idea..
cos they really throw ..the humor.. around. however, a lil more
careful examination shows they been through an awful alot of
challenges..and the fact they can actually sit back,
is a refelction of true merit..inside & out... @ her best...

remember the story & her quick temper? but when push came to
shove, she placed her life ahead to saved the person she loved the most..
such is the lot, running all over there, hte mell-stormers site...but
they're so darn funny too!

p.s....it's not really such a biggie that i happened to pick up on a few
observations..afterall..i get alot practice at work [don't want to promote
an expectation i can't possible meet, you know] ..jim croce's time in a bottle
..we don't control as much as we think we do..[my opinion]...sometimes,
i think we all are given a destiny..to work with...me> i can remember going
thru some ugly diffculties/obstacles..and cursing my misfortunes...only
later [even sometimes years]....providing blessings, beyond those i could
have ever imagined..and the thing that made up such was simply
never losing my faith [ ok...my defintion of faith..is/are the beliefs you
believe in your heart]...and keep going...that is, avoid judging others and
yourself..as never been worthy enough...i think when we obtain the wisdom
to leave such matters to a higher power, time has the habit of working our
problems out...one thing my life experiences have taught me..there are
worst things than death..but no one here has the right to decide..in reality,
one rights end when their behaviors [verbal or actions] begin to hurt others...
how does one knows? when the person tells you so. since today is 9/11...
the ultimate in idiot behaviors ..so delusional that it is pyschotic..by any
defintion..blowing up yourself to hurt and kill others! ..it is nuthing but
a mean old bully mentality..killing God's greatest gift...common sense is also
self evident..the best way to influence others is a positive action...

sorry,i do have this tendency to talk a lil too much..cruising...we don't
interact much with the cruise groups..cos we know..a disney cruise doesn't
leave much time for socializing...our first..my wife had to dragged me..we
didn't planned anything..yet, even with all our experiences, there something
special about the first one. so if you guys go, don't worry too much doing
everything or specfic activities. the cruise boards concern me, a lil..i seen
alot of negative attention seeking...and mean spirited...i am ,
very, and used to be redheaded..sorta..now if all the melly-stormers went
on a cruise...that would be , hoot et hollerin affair! boy ,your
memory great...i forgotten bout my lil miss new outfits..hmmm, they are
neat..she has great fashion sense [except maybe pickin me> ]
here's one of our secrets..thanks goodness for the hurrican delaying our
2004 cruise..or we wouldn't had made it, on its regular schedule...

well see..maybe sneaking a few pics in..

one of my favorites was the one over at mgm..she didn't care how big
tthe crowd..she sure put of her princess finery [attitude!]./. anyone can
see ..this is how to do disney..family style! [these types are my favorites..]
i wish i took a pic of that lil girl we met back in 2002..who asked to sit near
jordan..that's when i begin to understand how important a disney vacation
could be...
