Where the July 25, 2010 Wonder Double Dippers at?

I wrote Anheiser Busch because it was easier than listing all the parks that our Super Grover Passport gets us into. We can get into Sesame Place (PA), all Sea Worlds, Aquatica, and all Busch Gardens parks. We can't get free admission to Discovery Cove, but were told that we could receive a percentage off our admission there. (I want to wait on that park because my son is only 3 years old and I think you have to be 6 to swim with the dolphins.)

Sorry that Busch sold out like that, but I'm glad you are still employed with them and that the other group purchase did not affect your employment. I did notice on Sea World's website that they offer a combo package that includes Universal, Islands of Adventure, and another waterpark. Maybe next year we will visit Universal. My son is such a super hero fan that I know he would love seeing them....at the same time, I'd rather wait until he could meet the height requirement for most of the rides there...know what I mean?

yes its 6 for the dolphin swim and so worth it!!!! I was going to ask if you were going to Universal for Harry Potter? But I don't blame you to wait till you all can ride it makes it more enjoyable for sure...

That's good to know that it's the same food because I've researched a few message boards and they suggest to go to Parrot Cay as oppossed to the buffet that they will suggest.

I'm looking forward to grabbing a bite to eat and then to explore the ship a bit, have some time in the pools, etc... before heading to our room. We also have the later dining. Some people have said that families with children tend to do the earlier seating, but since we are always on the go running around with my daughter's extra curricular activities, I find we eat late to begin with. I spoke with my aunt and she said we would have more than enough time inbetween that 6'ish showtime and dinner to change and get ready. (I don't want the kids to miss out on anything...but I'm finding that there is so much to do and see that I am sure we will need to take another trip to really see everything!)

I was able to get a fish extender (well I hope at least :) ). I found a mickey mouse wall hanger for a little more than $6 on amazon.com I paid a little extra to receive it within 2-6 days and it came out to $13 for everything. I'll get glitter letter stickers and place our names on it and hang it outside our door. Since I didn't know about the FE exchanges that go on until today...I have decided that I will go to the dollar store and get 2 items per day to leave in there for the kids. I'm going to tell them that their "Disney Friends" left if for them. I thought it would be a great incentive to get them up and out of bed every morning....Like Christmas Day...LOL

I think the shows are about 45 min to maybe an hr so if an hr is enough time to get ready then that sounds like a good plan for sure...they sometimes offer a show in the afternoon so if that fits into your schedule it may free up one night for you too just check the navigator daily....Thats great you got a FE and the Dis Friend thing sounds cute I am sure they will love it.....Tip don't stress to much you will not be able to do it all but that gives you a reason to do it again....LOL....

Hi Underthesea2010! (I tried to look up info for your name...I didn't see a ticker with that info on your post...sorry!)

And a very happy birthday to your daughterprincess: Did you sign her up for the Oceaneers Club/Lab? My daughter and son are both signed up. I'm not trying to push them away from us by any means...but my daughter can't wait to participate in the activities. Maybe our girls will meet up in there :goodvibes

This is our very first cruise so I'm not exactly sure how to do the FE. I got mine on amazon.com and searched under "disney wall organizer". It's not as detailed as some of the photos I have seen of other FEs...and if I had the time, I would certainly have ordered one of them. Ebay sells them but the ones I seen ranged from $25-$30 each. I guess you could check out the posts about the FEs to get ideas. I know there are pictures and show some of the items that are left in there.

I'm fairly new to the Dis boards so I'm still learning a lot and I wish I would have found this sooner. My DD is 8 and DS is 3.5 years old. (We are also on deck 7!) Is there a way for us to private message each other or perhaps exchange email addresses so that we can set things up in terms of how often we will exchange, some exchange ideas since it looks like it will only be us, etc....???

Thanks again!
Kim

we're arriving on the 24th then cruising and staying a few days after the cruise. Sunscreen was the first thing packed and lots of it, lol. I packed my rashguard top w/spf in it second-just to act as a secondary sun barrier. I'm super fair so I burn in an instant-it's a top priority because i loathe being burnt, especially on vacation. Great point about being in bathing suits for 2 days except at dinner-that makes the luggage a little lighter and leaves more room for souvies, lol.

Is everyone getting excited with just over a week to go? :cool1:

DH and I are going to start packing today!

Ohhhh yes!!! Sooo excited that I actually dreamed of mickey bars? I guess I've been looking at all the food pics people have been posting. :surfweb: Can't wait to try the Konk Koolers everyone's been talking about!

Windan....We are from NJ too : ) I started getting all the clothes and things together, but I think today will be the day that I really start putting the things in suitcases. I dropped the kids off to my inlaws house so that I could take the time to get things organized without them getting into thing...LOL.

:sad2: .... I am so sorry to say that Sea World parks are no longer owned by the Anheiser Busch company ... :drinking1... they are now owned by the black stone group which ownes universal :woohoo: and alot of other company's ....:thumbsup2 .... I am looking foward too being employed with them for many years . and hope they don't decide to sell out like busch did.

I hope they don't sell out either. What has happened to AB is criminal imo. So many people in AB have lost their jobs in St. Louis. It has been so sad.:sad2:

We are also on our 1st cruise!!! Not long left to go now! We are from Ontario, Canada. It will be the 3 of us - dh, dd (7) and myself (dw). Any other children my daughter's age? She is a little unsure of the kids club, but I think once she gets there, she will have a blast!

I've got all my documents done on-line. What needs to be printed and brought with us? I don't want to print everything off if not needed.

Magnets are all done! DD is so looking forward to decorating our door! We are also looking forward to 2 stops at Castaway Cay. I have heard Castaway Cay alone is worth cruising with Disney!!!

KDL....This is our first disney cruise too! It's me, DH, DD (who is 8 and already signed up for the oceaneer programs) and DS (who is 3 and is also signed up...just don't know how much he will actually do though).

I'm going to work on our magnets tomorrow. Can't wait to let my kids decorate our door too.

KDL...

It's our first cruise too! It'll be me, dh, dd who's 7 and ds (1). My dd can't stop talking about the cruise. She's been counting the days since Mickey called!

I think all you need printed out are the payment authorization form and the dcl contract which are both in your Disney docs. (Any Dis Vets, please feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken.)

I think I am on the road to being "overpacked". Can you guys give me an idea of what you are bringing (# of items too). For instance...my children....I have 4 bathing suits each....Mairey has 4 dresses (3 are sun dresses and 1 is a little fancier) and a pirate dress for pirate night. She has 2 bathing suit cover ups and 4 short outfits plus a few extra t-shirts. She also has a black minnie mouse hooded sweatshirt that I ordered on sale (personalized) from Disney for the cooler evenings. Oh and a few pair of pajamas.

It's pretty much the same thing for Landen...but I also added 2 different types of khaki pants to go with his dress shirts (little plaid short sleeve button down and polo type) and dress shorts. He also has a mickey hooded sweatjacket.

As for me...I'm doing 3 bathing suits (which I'll wash and re-use as well)...3 swim cover ups...4 short sets...5 dresses (one is dressier cause we are going to Palo...the rest are cute sun dresses)and a few pair of pajamas. Same for DH but I added the dress shirt, tie, and dress pants for Palo for him. And DH and I also have pirate shirts for the pirate party.

I just feel like we are overpacking. Right now I have started putting everything in 2 suitcases plus a carry on. I know already that those suitcases are heavy...so I'll pull some things out and add them to Mairey, Landen, and my carry on.

I wouldnt' be so worried if we were driving down to Florida...but we are flying and I would rather avoid paying all this extra money for baggage if we don't really need to...know what I mean.

Let me know if the stuff above looks about right....or if we can downsize. I still have to bring all of our shoes (I'll do a pair of flip flops for each of us for pool and beach...and then 2 pair of dress sandals for me and Mairey...dress sandals for Landen...dress sandals for Frank & I'll also have to pack dress shoes for Palo for DH.)

Thanks in advance!

thank you for posting this!! do you have any fav dish that's a must try? i read you can order two if you can't make up your mind but i don't want to be a PIA.

no problem... and yes order what you want....In Triton's they have a real good onion soup and in there we each ordered what we wanted then split the Three-Cheese Lobster Macaroni (it was just ok) so don't worry about being a PIA any of the beef dishes have been good. Try something if you don't like it order something else it really won't be a problem :thumbsup2
