We are vacationing at WDW for a week in early Dec. and decided to add on 2 days at Universal. We prefer to stay on Universal property but are traveling with a family of 5 (mom, dad, 5 year old, 2-1/2 year old and grandma). In order for each child to sleep in a queen bed with one parent and for grandma to have her own bed, which on property hotel would be our best option? Would the resort provide us with 2 bedrails? Do the rooms have a mini refrig./coffee maker?

If none of the on property resorts will accomodate us, is there a VERY close off property hotel that you would recommend?

We are also looking for 2 day/2 park tickets. What are our options?

I've read a little about FOTL. Can someone explain exactly what that is and is the cost worth it?

Thanks for your time,

Debbie

the fotl is an amenity for all hotel guests.

it allows the key holder to use the express lanes at all times, with no limitations.

UO sells express passes for a varied amount depending on date.
those express passes plus are only valid one time only. one ride or attraction/ show for the park you buy it for.

in the long run, it is cheaper to rent a room on site than to pay for all 5 to have the epp.

you can try for a deluxe room that has a pull out sofa.
the pbh has them and the deluxe queen rooms at hrh have the pull out sofas.
that way g'ma has her own bed.

if you stay at rph, you can rent a rollaway for $25 per night.

at any 3 of the hotels, you will have an additional $25 charge for an extra adult in the room.

instead of rph, try for one of the other two and consider the extra cost per night would nor incur there if you have the sofa in the room.
