Where should we stay?

Here's our park schedule-

Day 1- MK
Day 2- Epcot
Day 3- AK
Day 4- DTD and if it rains head back to MK

We decided not to do HS because my cousin's mom does not want her to do the drop rides like TOT and if we went there I would give in and let her ride.

We looked into Fort Wilderness and have one question- To do the ammenitites there, do you have to stay in a cabin?

We still don't know where to dine at the parks but at AK are leaning towards Rainforest Cafe'. Any other suggestions?

She still doesn't know and I'm praying her parents can keep a secret because they almost spilled the beans last week when I was on the phone with them. :headache: :headache: :headache:
You do not need to stay at the cabins to do the horsaback riding, it's best if you call in advance to make a reservation for riding. Here is some info about it: Guided horseback rides are offered 6 times daily (8:30, 10, 11:30 a.m., 1, 2:30 and 4 p.m.) at the Tri-Circle D Livery at Fort Wilderness. The rides, which cost $42 per person, last approximately 45 minutes. Riders must be at least 9 years old and 48 inches tall and can weigh no more than 250 pounds. The horses are tame and walk pretty much single file during the ride. If you're an experienced rider, this ride may be too dull for you. If you've not had an opportunity to ride a horse before or have done so rarely, this ride may be just what you're looking for. To make reservations, call (407) 824-2832 -- reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance. It is strongly suggested that you wear long pants and that you do not wear open-toed or heeled shoes. To get to the Tri-Circle D Livery, you can drive to and park in the Fort Wilderness Visitor parking lot and walk; board the bus at the TTC and take it to the Outpost Depot bus stop; take the Fort Wilderness boat from the marina at the Magic Kingdom to the Fort Wilderness marina and then walk to the Settlement Depot bus stop where you'd then board the bus to the Outpost Depot.

I like to go to AK if it is a rainy day, especially in the summer, the animals become more active because it is cooler. Rainforest cafe is a neat place if you have never been. If you are looking for character dinning, Crystal Palace in MK is good if you like Pooh and gang and the askerhaus in Norway EPCOT for princesses are a couple of our fav's.
Have a great time!!

Day2- Epcot
Day3- Ak
Day4- Morning-AK-Afternoon-DTD- Evening- Chef Mickey's and then Wishes

But if it starts to rain on any day, we'll let my cousin choose if she wants to stay at that park or head to another.

Since my aunt is paying for my cousin, we decided to go ahead and do the horseback riding... Twice. :rotfl: We made reservations at I think 8:30AM on Day2 and Day4.

There will be three of us - My cousin, My sister and I- and we all love animals so I booked Rainforest Cafe for AK. We called WDW Reservations and found out that on the day we're at Epcot the canadian resturaunt had an opening so we booked it. The only problem is that it's at 11:30. We weren't planning to get there that early but we can manage.

My cousin loves the movie Cinderella so we decided to splurge a little. At MK we are just going to get something from the food carts around the park but for dinner before the fireworks we're going to 1900 Park Fare.

It may seem seem that we're going overboard but this is my cousin's first time at Disney and we want her to have a great time.... And my mom and dad are paying for my sister and I. All that the three of us will need to pay for is Food and Shopping. :woohoo:

There is no going overboard at Walt Disney World! I think it is just beyond sweet that you are working and planning so hard to make this memorable for your cousin. I love 1900 Park Fare for dinner, if you cousin is a Cinderella fan, she will be in heaven. Have a wonderful trip, the whole thing sounds perfect!

We will be on a very tight budget so I am leaning toward the POP or ASM. The last time we went in 2000 we stayed at the ASM and that was great. At the time my then 2 year old son was infatuated with the movie Toy Story and Buzz and Woody. It was great because we actually were in that themed area. My question is now he is 10 but my daughter will be 3 then. Should we do the ASM again or POP? I would love to stay at the AKL but on our budget that is just not feasable. And let's face it, anywhere you stay in Disney is a great place to be.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
