We've been to Disney lots of times, but this will be the first time to celebrate a birthday! My DD will be turning 11, and we decided to go to Disney for the weekend. (We live in FL) We, just today, planned this and I don't have the time to check menus, etc.:worship: So, I thought I'd ask for some help. See my signature for the participants. We will be there FRI, SAT and SUN. We are going to MNSSHP Sat., and want to do the b-day meal, that morning, or maybe Sunday for lunch. What non-park restaurants do you guys suggest and what should I order. We're not picky, I'm just lazy and feeling indecisive.:lmao: Thank you!! ..M

For breakfast I love Kona Cafe and Boatrights....

If you are wanting a character breakfast, I'd try Ohana's or Cape May Cafe.

Boma has lots of ambiance, not too kiddish, and lots to explore in the resort: art everywhere, often entertainment (singing, dancing, drumming,) savannahs with animals, and it is reported to have one of the best breakfast buffets on property!! ...I have enjoyed dinner there many times.

We recently had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare ..it has characters, but is not as kidcentric as say, Chef Mickey's. That said, the Mad Hatter was a hoot, and My DD9 was happy to learn that Alice (of Wonderland fame) is 12. Pooh and Tigger are also on hand, and they don't talk, so it is a fairly mellow, but still fun experience(...it's not the princess crowd.) pirate:

Many like O'hana for breakfast: Lilo, Stitch, Pluto, Minnie...more perhaps.:confused3 If you were doing a dinner birthday, O'hana would be my pick.:thumbsup2

I hope this helps.:flower3:
