Where should we eat?

We have not made any dining plans for 3/24 or 3/25. I know it could be a big mistake (not having any res. yet) but I would like to hear recommendations of where to eat. We are staying at the HRH.

We are a family of 5 and looking for dinner on 3/24 and lunch on 3/25. It will be me, DH, DD9, DD7 and DS1.5. Price is not really a concern, we like to eat well.

I would love to hear suggestions! TIA!

Thats the great thing about Universal is you don't really have to have a ressie months in advance like at Disney you can make them the day of and citywalk has alot of great places to eat it just depends on what you like.

You can also usually get priority seating at most Citywalk restaurants by showing your HRH room key to the restaurant's checkin desk.

I noticed last week that they were really pushing the FOTL for restaurants. Every boat captain now included it in his speech.

It also worked well at every place we went this vacation. On previous stays, it was hit or miss whether the restaurants would honor it. But this vacation, we never waited more than a few minutes no matter how long the actual waits were.

We didn't try it this trip, so I don't know.

I know it worked really well at Mythos this time, whereas in November, they had told me they didn't do the FOTL thing.

Although we were so bummed at Mythos. The chicken salad and the lobster bisque was off the menu - our two favorites. I had been looking so forward to the chicken salad.

It's been a few years, but we really enjoyed NBA City for dinner. Making plans to go back on this next trip due to recommendations I have read on these boards for a blue cheese chicken pasta dish, I think??
I had one of their salads and DS had pizza. Both very good!

From reports i have read , it is still not included at Bubba Gumps.
And i would go along with katiee511, we had a great meal at NBA, and Pastamore was very good, as was Finnegans at Universal studios
