We're arriving at about 7:30 pm from MCO. So by the time we sit down and eat it'll be about 8:00 or so. We have three kids, so we'll be starving. We don't want anything fancy, it could be good cheeseburgers or something. Any ideas? I really don't want to go over to Beaches and Cream, knowing the crowds...is there anything like that around the BW?

You don't say their ages, but my kids love the ESPN club on the Boardwalk. The food is good and reasonably priced and there are TV's everywhere with sports on (including the restrooms!).

You can also get pizza at the Spoodles take out window.

Both of those would be good in my opinion.

Oh, great idea about Spoodles pizza, I love that. How bout if we go in and sit down, is it usually packed? I'd like to have time just to walk around or unpack etc. Maybe even go to the pool at night :D . I wonder when it closes down in mid April? Can't wait for that slide!

I say hands down without a doubt you need to walk over to the Beach Club and eat at Beaches and Cream. The best counter type service place (even though it's a sit down) that we ate at our entire trip. It was the best!! When we went it was about 8:00 and there was no line and no wait. We were just there last week so it's a similar time of year.

How about ordering a whole pizza pie and taking it back to your room from the Spoodles window? (We were told that the pizza isn't available IN Spoodles, but this may have changed.)

My girlfriend and I had had a slice of pizza early during our vacation and were impressed with how good it was. One night, after being in the parks til closing, she went back to the room at the BC and I got the pizza and we ate it on the balcony from our room at BC. It hit the spot as we weren't in the mood for the noise and crowds or expense of a sit-down meal.

ok, thanks. Can you order Spoodles pizza from your room and have it ready for pickup?

You know, I'm not sure. I'd look into ordering ahead when you check in. I had just walked up and placed an order for a whole pie. I strolled up and down the Boardwalk, in and out of the shops and returned twenty minutes later.

Becareful with the Spoodles Pizza window. Personally, I thought the pizza was horrible, and it is VERY Small. It's only a 12 inch pizza and definately too small to feed a family of 4. If you have a family of 4, you'll probablly need 2 pizzas.

Yea, we're a family of 5. And they'll be hungry boys and they all LOVE pizza.

If they're all boys, take them to the ESPN club!

Definitely ESPN Club! DH and I go there at least once during every trip (we stay at BWV). On some nights, they actually have sport stars there for interviews (we've seen seom Red Wings players and an Atlanta Braves player). The food is great, and not as expensive as you might think for a Disney place. Good variety, also. And yes, there are TVs in the bathrooms!

Thanks for the ESPN advice, but unfortunately we tried it in January and did not like it at all. The food was mediocre at best, very disappointing. But the atmosphere is great for my DS16 sports nut. Thanks!
