My wife and I are making our second trip to DLP in a few weeks. Last time, we toured the parks in a full day, and grabbed a quick dinner at Rainforest. This time, I think it would be nice to have a nice dinner at one of the resorts, etc to cap off the evening. We arent huge fans of French foods, but we aren't overly pickey either, if that makes sense? I'm a steak and seafood guy, and she eats just about anything and is much more open minded.

Hoping all you more seasoned DLP folks can give us some good suggestions:thumbsup2

Most of the hotel restaurants are buffet meals as opposed to table service.

As long as you dont mind this the best one is Inventions in DLH - the food is wonderful and there is so much choice. It is also a character buffet

I can highly recommend the California Grill from personal experience..... But, another option that might be good for you both is The Chicago Steakhouse in the Disney Village.... This is a lovely restaurant with lots of steak and fish options.... Why not check your options out on the restaurant reviews sticky near the top of the board? There's photos, menus, etc, that should help you make your choice.... :goodvibes

A menu posted on the review for Ca Grill showed a "Tasting Menu." My assumption is its a prix fix with a choice from a couple apps and a few entrees. Any experience with this?

The tasting menu is a set menu with lots of smaller courses to try different things

There are a couple of other set menus with a few choices for each course with a set price

It is a seven course (I believe) menu selection. Not eaten off it myself, but I believe its around 95 Euro a head with wine.
