I am staying onsite so is it possible to buy my 10 day ticket at guest services at the resort the day after I arrive?

Would this be quicker than waiting until I get to the park gate?

Will it be the same price as at the gate?

TIA! :flower:

You can buy it at the resort and it probably would be quicker - BUT -

even better - buy it now. You can get it cheaper from www.Ticketmania.com and there was another place someone was talking about on the budget board that's even cheaper then Ticketmania. I can vouch for Ticketmania though because I've bought from them a few times. If you sign up on www.mousesavers.com you can get a newsletter every month or so that has a link to ticketmania for even more of a discount.

You can have your tickets mailed to your home or you can have them waiting for you at your resort when you check in. :earsboy:

I usually use www.Ticketmania.com , but this time we used www.Undercovertourist.com as they were cheaper. I got the 10 day Premium with No Expiration.

They were very helpful (English people on a freephone number). They worked out cheaper still than stated on the website when they converted it into £s for me on the phone. I had the tickets 5 days later (shipped from Scotland actually).

Thanks! I have just signed up at mousesavers. It's always good to hear positive reports from people who have actually used these companies.

I will look at undercovertourist too.

By the way Disney Debbie, love the pink ribbon. I wear one virtually every day :) .

Thanks Worfthedog - that's the place I'd read about but couldn't think of the name. It's gotten positive reports on the budget board.

Miss Mickey Mania - Thanks for the comment about the ribbon and for showing your support! I saw it on another DIS'er's signature and had to have it!

I know this may not sound too practical but I am not buying our tickets until we are THERE. They are not refundable and God forbid something happens and we can't make the trip (the resort has 48 cancel. policy and plane tickets you can use for a year)it's worth having not put out that money and miss the small discount from advance purchase.

If you check the undercovertourist website tinkerbelle22, they do have a refund policy as long as the tickets (that come sealed) are unopened and unused.

They do however have a 4% restocking charge, which should be smaller than the saving you make. No I don't work for them, even though i sound like I do! I hope this helps.

Well you could say I have a vested interest. My mum was diagnosed 6 weeks ago and we had to cancel our planned 3 week July vacation. That's the reason I'm doing WDW solo this year and for a shorter time (11 nights).

tinkerbelle22 - you are just being cautious and not tempting fate :) . You do what you feel is right for your family. That way you won't be stressed before you get there.
