Where should I buy my iphone today?

Should I go to Best Buy or the Apple store. Best Buy is closer, but I am willing to buy at the Apple store if it is suggested.

I'd go to Apple if you have the choice.

I bought my Mac Book at Best Buy....same computer....same price....but I was told that I was not eligible to take Apple's one on one classes because I didnt buy directly from Apple.

I dont know if there are any stipulations....but as long as you are paying the same price.....go to the souce.

Be careful of buying at "authorized resellers" like Best Buy. Some may have extra conditions in their contract that are more restrictive than others.

As an example, a local Verizon authorized reseller had a clause in their contract that stated that if you terminated the contract early, not only did you pay a fee to Verizon but you also had to pay the authorized reseller an early termination fee.

Read the contract.

Apple's customer service has served me well. Best Buy has not.

I'm sure the product is the same at either place, but given the choice, I'd buy it at the Apple store.

The Apple store also has all sorts of gizmos to go with the iPod that the boneheads at Best Buy will swear don't exist.
