Great updates. I hope Chelsea's camera is found (although I have a feeling that it was).
Thanks! I will try to reveal the fate of the camera later this week. It makes for an interesting story, that's for sure!
Lurker, but darn, I want to know what happened to that camera!!!
Welcome! Thanks for posting! The camera story and the aftermath is quite interesting, I promise.
They were killing me with their solicitous arm-stroking.

I lost a camera at Silver Springs when I was a child...we ultimately found the camera, but not the film (old 110 film, does anybody remember that??) I've never gotten over it.

I have a feeling Chelsea's camera resurfaced, but I'm sure not before some panic ensued.
I remember losing things when I was a kid and being absolutely crushed by it! Connor lost a little camera on our Disney trip in 2004, so I was beginning to feel like we were cursed.
There was a lot of panic (and tears).
Your epcot day sounds like it was off to a great start.
Innoventions sounds really neat and the sum of all thrills sounds like an interesting attraction.
Looking forward to more
Thanks! Our Epcot day was off to a great start until the camera disappeared. Then, it all went downhill. The Sum of All Thrills is soooo much fun!
I love Disney World palm tree pictures.
Thanks! I

palm trees!
Sum of All Thrills
and Mission:Space.

I would have just died on the spot...in two parts.
Half dead on the roller coaster and finished out on Mission:Space.
Between slow death and knowing that Soarin' wait was growing by leaps and bounds, it would have not been a good start to my day.
I'm glad it worked out for you guys, though.
As you know, I refuse to do Mission: Space, but The Sum of All Thrills wasn't too bad. Your legs are free, and there is a panic button. Of course, my son told me I wasn't allowed to touch it. LOL!
I will have faith that you did get to soar later in the day.
Well, I do love Soarin' almost as much as you do!
I look forward to seeing what missions Connor was able to do. We're still 'mission failed' on getting around to doing one of those, even as many times as we have said we are going to!
We just did one on this trip, but Connor was okay with that. The one we did do was very neat. I think Disney has just been so clever with this game.
I'm glad the day and 1/2 worked out at Epcot. I was worried while you were gone you could back hating me and the help I gave you on your plans.
N-E-V-E-R!!! Your plans were great, and we really ended up sticking to them pretty closely for the most part -- especially the Animal Kingdom and DHS ones!
Sometimes you just have to go with the flow at Disney. If your family is having fun then it's worth it to tweak the plans.
I thought so, too. It's not like it was our first and only time there -- we had done all the attractions before, so the chance to do new ones was appealing to all of us.
I have to agree with
MeMom neither one of those are going to be on my to do list.
Oh, but The Sum of All Thrills is so cool! I think everyone should try it at least once.
Soarin is going to be first on my list, along with hundreds of others I imagine....
Can't beat the smell of oranges first thing in the morning!
I'm glad your DH found something he really liked.
I was surprised! I swear, he talked about Sum of All Thrills the rest of the vacation! LOL!
It reminds me of the last trip when I couldn't drag my DMom away from some exhibit (can't remember what it was now) The kids and I were so bored but she found it so facinating that she talked about it the whole trip and then looked it up on the internet when we got home.
I'll have to ask her what it was when she gets up....it's bothering me that I can't remember what it was.
Okay, just asked DMom and she can't remember either....guess it wasn't THAT memorable after all.....LOL!!!!
That's too funny! Now I really want to know what exhibit it was!
Oh no, I hope Chelsea found her camera....
It makes for a very interesting time...
