Where Pixie-Dusted Birthday Dreams Come True! A July Trip Report! PTR Link! Pg. 116

Yeah for Packages from Kansas and Ms.Wigd! Cool disco ball. almost makes me want to go back to school again. :lmao: almost!

The lady then smiled at me and said, “It’s okay! Wait here and I’ll be right back,” and walked out another door, this time on the left. (I assumed she was going to get a tissue for Chelsea.) She came back with two Disney spray fans, one for me and one for Connor!

VERY cool! only at disney would this happen this way. not saying that people can't be decent elsewhere, but they just go above and beyond, kinda like they did when luke fell and busted his lip and nose. i'm always impressed with their reaction to things!

We headed to the pool where Chelsea encountered her 11-year-old stalker again, I dealt with rude people shoving my chair aside, and we ignored them all with pina coladas and enjoying the fabulous pool. (Chelsea had a non-alcoholic one.)

thanks for the clarification on chelsea not getting booze! :lmao:

Suddenly, one of the Cast Members was asking, “Is there a Chelsea here?”

Chelsea hesitantly admitted that her name was Chelsea.

He held the phone out to her and said, “You have a phone call.”

Chelsea was so confused, but her face quickly broke into a grin when she realized she was getting a birthday phone call from Goofy!!!

Afterwards, she told me, “He even said my name. He said, ‘Hi, Chelsea! I hear it’s your birthday!’ and then, he sang to me!”

What an adorable moment of Disney magic! Charles even got a kick out of it!

awesome! so did you request this or just indicate on your dining reservation that it was her birthday? just wondering if this will be happening for any of my clients any time soon! i always indicate on any dining reservations i make if they are celebrating anything.

Love the chandeliers!

Hi CP!
So where has Becky been? I've spent the last week getting reacquainted with everyone's PTR and TR and she sort of stopped. Is anyone FB friends with her? I wanted t thank her for her TA recommendations. Anyway, just wondering.
Have a great day at school.
I'm FB friends with her. Both of her girls just started school (well, Claire started MDO) and then I think she was getting things ready for a big consignment sale. I think she is planning on coming back soon. (I really hope so!)

Just checking in from my phone while waiting for Rachel to get out of school glad all is well loved the Fairy Godmother update

Julie

Thank Goodness the camera was found! I just love that about Disney and how they really go to infinity and beyond. The free water fans is just frosting on the cake. I'm sure those must of come in handy during the trip. I just hate chair movers. I've had people come when we were in the pool at the beach club and guests will just take your belongings off the chairs and put them on the floor so they can have your chair!:scared1:
What a fun night at Epcot! My stomach is growling hearing about your dinner.
Anita is so sweet! Chelsea and Connor must of been on cloud 9 with their goodies.

I love that disco ball!! How nice to have a Fairy Godmother! :thumbsup2

Chelsea loves it! She says she and her friends are always turning it on in her locker. LOL!

What a nice surprise! DIS friends are the best. :goodvibes

Too funny about the shedding of clothes once through the front door!

Yes, DIS friends are the best! :goodvibes

Connor does it every day without fail!

What a great surprise to come home to! Too funny about Connor. Dakoda strips off his shoes and socks, but not his shirt yet. Although that might just be because he can't take it off himself yet.

Just wait! The shirt will be coming off with everything else before you know it!

Hi! Becky does post on FB -- I think she is keeping pretty busy with the girls these days.

Such a sweet surprise! Isn't Anita the best?! :)

Yes, she is!!!

What a wonderful surprise!!!! Gotta love a DIS friend! :goodvibes

It was great to come home to Miss Anita mail! :thumbsup2

WOW, those gifts are amazing!! Anita knows how to give some good ones! I still treasure the items she has given me!!!!!!! So glad that Chelsea was able to get her disco ball, that is awesome!

Anita is the best Fairy Godmother!:lovestruc

Love the goodies!

I think so, too! :goodvibes

Yeah for Packages from Kansas and Ms.Wigd! Cool disco ball. almost makes me want to go back to school again. :lmao: almost!

Almost! If you had had the day I had, you wouldn't want to go back even if there was a disco ball in it for you! :lmao:

VERY cool! only at disney would this happen this way. not saying that people can't be decent elsewhere, but they just go above and beyond, kinda like they did when luke fell and busted his lip and nose. i'm always impressed with their reaction to things!

Disney really does do everything it can to make a bad situation better!

thanks for the clarification on chelsea not getting booze! :lmao:

 Didn't want anyone wondering! LOL!

We did have Chelsea's birthday noted on our reservation, but the phone call was all Le Cellier's doing.

i don't know why but le cellier reminds me of the dining hall at hogwart's!

Yes, definitely!

i concur! it's my favorite.

I just always feel like I am in a totally different place there!

Awww...what a fantastic surprise to come home to! :thumbsup2 LOVE that disco ball! DIS friends are the best! :goodvibes

Yes, they are!!! Chelsea is so funny with her locker all discoed out!

I hope so, too!

well that's a relief! Too funny about the shirt, especially in the winter.

btw...TR is up!

Hurray! You know what's funny? This afternoon I took a quick peek at the DIS in between trying to untangle a mess of gifted curriculum stuff from Central Office. Anyway, I saw your title, didn't even look to see whose TR it was, and thought, "I LOVE that title!" Of course, I always say "Dr. Jones" with a German accent in my mind. :lmao: I will be over there in a little bit!

Just checking in from my phone while waiting for Rachel to get out of school glad all is well loved the Fairy Godmother update

Thanks! Getting ready to post the Kim Possible update in mere minutes.

What a sweet surprise from Anita. :goodvibes The gifts are great!

We were so thrilled!

That's just crazy! I can't believe people have the nerve to do that!

What a fun night at Epcot! My stomach is growling hearing about your dinner.
Anita is so sweet! Chelsea and Connor must of been on cloud 9 with their goodies.

I wish I had some of that Cheddar Cheese soup for lunch every day!

We were all so pleased with our goodies!

July 19, 2010: Part Four

As many of you know Connor loves, loves, loves his Kim Possible missions. It was a non-negotiable must-do for this day at Epcot.

After our delicious meal at Le Cellier, we headed towards our rendezvous point in Italy to pick up the Kimmunicator.

Connor had a delightful exchange with the Cast Member there.

091.jpg

Cast Member: Have you done a mission before?

Connor: Yes.

Cast Member: Do you remember how to work your Kimmunicator or did an evil villain erase your memory?

Connor: Gosh, I don’t know if an evil villain erased my memory!

Cast Member: Well, what did you have for breakfast?

Connor: (Pretending to search his memory and then responding in a slightly panicked, whispered voice) I can’t remember!!!

I love it when he gets into his role!

We headed to Germany where we had been entrusted to foil the plot of some evil-doer intent on making zombies of the populace with his mind-altering pretzels. Or something like that.

094.jpg

Charles and Chelsea bailed on us to go soccer shirt shopping, so Connor was left with me as his sidekick.

A slightly distractable, flighty sidekick.

095.jpg

Yes, I was cast as that character. :lmao:

Connor was left to be the mastermind of the operation. Luckily, he was well-equipped with his spray fan/bandolier supplies.

We were led on a wild chase through the Christmas shop…

The toy store…

Back into the square where I was distracted yet again by the pretty sights.

But ultimately good prevailed over evil, and the bad guy was caught…

Meanwhile somewhere in the African wild, Charles and Chelsea were finding plenty of soccer shirts…

Soon we were all reunited, and for some inexplicable reason, I was feeling slightly out of sorts. I am not really sure why except sometimes Epcot has that effect on me.

Everyone wanted to head back to the Japanese department store to stock up on candy and other little goodies. They had a great time.

Afterwards, I thought Charles would decide to call it a night, but instead he surprised me completely by asking, “Do you want to stay for Illuminations?”

Um, where was my husband and who was this man???

He was all for staying to watch a nighttime show, and I was cranky. Was there some sort of Freaky Friday thing going on that I was unaware of??? ;)

Well, even when I am being a grouch, I can’t resist fireworks and drums, so I agreed.

We nabbed a spot on the pavement with a good view, ate some Japanese rock candy, and enjoyed the show. Charles pointed out that it was his first time seeing it. It was my third time, so I had to think for a minute why that was the case..

Sure enough, the first time we saw it was with Anita, Marc, and Baylor. Charles had bailed and gone back to the hotel. The second time I saw it was at the Food and Wine Festival with Heidi, Kat, and her family. Charles had slept through it.

This time he stayed awake and really liked it.

However, Connor was extraordinarily concerned that the flames from the big torches were going to catch the trees on fire. We had to reassure him several times that Disney had it under control.

Back at the hotel room, Chelsea dissolved into complete hyperness and entertained us with her antics.

We had lots of fun at Epcot, but I was over it and ready to explore another park. Tomorrow would be my favorite: Animal Kingdom!!!

AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I can't possibly be the first person to read this!

Such a great post - especially Connor and the CM. LOL! That was so funny.

The soccer shirts are amazing. do you think they will have any left in two weeks. I want them all. They would make great Xmas/bday presents!!!! I even noticed that one was on sale! (bargain shopper that I am).

I am so glad charles stayed for Illuminations. And better yet - He LIKED it!!!!!!! Awesome!

Great Pics. Not so sure about the Chelsea hair thing though! :rotfl:

Mind altering pretzels! :lmao: I love how Connor gets into stuff. I swear, I could read a book about that child and his interactions and never get bored. :goodvibes

Okay, I was seriously going to be snarky and ask if the reason Charles wanted to stay for Illuminations was so he could take a nap. :rotfl2: But you, as the dutiful wife, felt okay to point that out for me.

Honestly, that's one of my cherished memories, all of us watching Illuminations. And who am I to talk, my son slept through them as well, eh? :goodvibes I'm glad you got to enjoy them and Charles was awake for these. :thumbsup2

Love the Haunted Mansion playing cards!

I'm here, I'm here.
I have done the Germany mission.
Would have been better if you made that stop in France :rolleyes1

Cranky, that's no cranky. Glad it was not something too serious.
Also good to see Charles taking the reins.
