Where online can I put PINs or public codes?

I read through the stickies, Googled, searched this site using Google, yet could not find an answer to this:

When booking online, can I use discount codes, and if so, how?

I just booked a new trip online, and it gave me the $500 gift card. However, I would have been better off to use the PIN I had, but I didn't see anywhere to put it. So, I had to call in and have the reservationist "put the whammy" on it.

I would also have liked to see if some other discounts would have been more favorable, but, for the aforementioned reason, I couldn't see how to do it.

^^^ The only way to book with a PIN code offer is to call it in. If you book on-line then a PIN code comes your way, you can always call Disney and have the CM apply the PIN discount to your already existing reservation.
