"Where Magic Lives" DVD

Hello......
Looking for help again.... I saw this advertised on the Main Street Megastore web page. It says that is shows every part of each park of WDW. has anyone viewed this? It lists for $39.99, so I would like to ask for opinions before I purchase it. Thanks!!!

Where Magic Lives is the title used on the FREE vacation planning DVD you can get from the Disney website. It's nice to have, but not worth paying $$$ for, especially since you can get it for free!

So is this the same one as the trip planning video? It doesn't sould like it, but I'd like to hear from someone who has purchased it.

After looking at the picture, it isn't the same as the trip planning DVD that I have.

It is (at least) different packaging than the free vacation planning video of the same name. I too would like to hear from someone who has bought it, especially anyone who also has the 'Four Parks, One World' video. How much new material is on the DVD? (I'll probably buy it even if it is mostly the same, but it would be nice to know!)

Parts of it are great and parts of it are so-so. But I would *swear* that we didn't pay more than $25 or so for it at WDW.

if so, then I'll have to hold out until we go there in December. I was hoping to get a Pre Disney "fix" by watching it until we left.

I was looking at this site. They have the official park CD for $32.99. That's usually about $19.99 at the parks!

that site also had Pal Mickey for about $20-$30 more than they sell it for at the park.

I purchased this DVD on e-bay. It is not the planning video. It is supposed to be a souvenier video. Overall it's okay. They have the Walt Disney story on it and tie his voice in as they go through each park. The tours of each park leave a lot out, but it's a good way to relive some of those disney memories.
