Where Is Tikiman?!?!?

I keep trying to check it since I gave him permission to use a lot of my OLD 1980's/1990s Poly photos. Most of them are up there already but I was trying to send the link to someone else and it wasn't working! I'll try again today!

couple things here guys:

1. I dont think you can post links like that here. The photo sites are okay, but you cant post other links. I would look into the user agreement to get that answer.

2. I LIKE the Tikiman site, but honestly, I didnt find anything there that you cant get here. It wasnt a personal statement about liking the site, or its qualities...

3. the add I got, I got from mongellos podcast where he interviews steve about the poly. it IS without the homestead.

I'm new here and haven't read the full details about the message boards, but it seems silly that you aren't allowed to post links. A simple google search and I was on Tikiman's site immediately? Anyway, it was fun to browse around, I like learning more about Disney

I'm a bit puzzled also, as I too love the site in question. As far as I'm concerned it's the de facto site for info about the Poly, bar none, and if my own Port Orleans site is ever even half as good as his, I'll be very happy indeed.

I've mentioned my own site a number of times here, and even put it in my sig, and as far as I can tell I'm staying completely within the DIS terms & conditions for external links (I did check them first). Is there some political or historical reason that this particularly useful site (which was up when I visited it yesterday incidentally, without the "homestead" and with the ".net") can't be named here?

I love both your site and TM's site. I can't even imagine how much work goes into them each month. As previously mentioned, it is a labor of love.

I would guess it has something to do with advertising for a competitor of a DIS sponsor.

That's what I don't get... what's the difference between your PO site, or Buzz's CSR site (which are linked to all the time) and Tikiman?

Admitedly, I haven't been to Tikiman's site in a very long time, though.

I just went to the site with the word homestead in it and it popped up no problem! I am so glad as I've been trying for over a month to log onto it!
I can't wait to check it out, which is where I am headed right now
