Where is the Radisson located?

Everyone is talking about the Radisson Hotel, what city is it in, and is it near the cruise port, or near the Orlando Airport?

What transportation is used to get from the hotel to the port, and when the cruise is over, what transportation is used to get from the cruise port back to the Airport?

The Radisson is 3+ miles from port. There are many positive postings about the location and service they provide. There is a free shuttle to/from-from/to port.

Avis has an rental pick up/drop off location connected with the Radisson. You can pick up a rental at the airport and turn it in at the hotel...then, after your cruise, pick up a rental to go to the airport/parks. Dave's DCL tribute site has some rental suggestions...try the below link - great stuff

If you haven't had a chance to check out Dave's site yet, Here is a detailed map of the Cape Canaveral area that Dave has on his website. Here you will see that the Radisson is one A1A and very close to the port.

BTW, we have a large DISmeet planned by the Radisson pool on Friday night 8/22/03. We have around 7 or 8 DIS families from our Aug 23rd cruise, staying at the Radisson the night before our sailing.

I would highly recommend the Radisson. We rented a car from Avis--a Buick Regal for $54 for one day--and were thus able to go out to eat and see Ron Jons. Then we turned it in the next AM and were on the first Avis shuttle to the port.
