Where is the Main Gate?

I'm looking at Google Maps to try to gauge how far it's going to be for us to walk from the Holiday Inn Express on Katella and I can't tell where you actually enter the park. Is it the area with the signs that say like "Celebrate Today"...it's the only part I see on the map that looks like it could be an entrance but I'm not sure.

THat's a great map, thanks. Am I right in thinking you walk in across from the Ihop? Do you just walk through where the trams go or is there an obvious pedestrian walk from the main street?

You're right, the pedestrian crosswalk is by the IHOP. From the crosswalk, there's an obvious walking path to the green security tents and the main entrance. You can't miss it.

This link shows the walking route from the Candy Cane Inn, which is similar to the walking path from the Holiday Inn Express on Katella. It isn't too clear in the wikimap, but there is a sidewalk on both sides of Harbor Boulevard.

There is a crosswalk at IHop and a walkway from there to the Esplande and gates. On the map this walkway is the reddish colored strip along the north side of the Toy Story shuttle loop.
