Where is the "magic pillar" spot to view Fantasmic?

Okay, I know some DIS'er will know the answer. I have read on threads that there is a special spot to view Fantasmic but the threads only allude to a magic pillar - no one says where exactly it is.... anyone willing to share?

I would love to know also. We have only one night to see Fantasmic and the fireworks! I would love to know where the magic pillar is and can I see the fireworks from the same spot???

Read the post titled "best secrets in Disneyland" - there is a description there from someone who has been there (unlike me!). Trying to be funny by being deliberately vague..... All I ask in return for this tip is that you save room for me if you are there when I am!
