Where is the laundry room at SSR?

Hi
we're planning on having a pool day at SSR and was hoping to get some laundry done. Where about is this? do i need to take washing powder?
I understand that its free? is it ok to leave the laundry, go to the pool and then head back?

The machines are located next to the pools. You can buy detergent, etc. for $1 a box (1 load) but the machines are free. We had no trouble doing our wash while at the pool at Congress Park.

We used the laundry by the Congress Park Pool also. Very convenient and nice way to get laundry done while relaxing. Be advised that if you are gone for an extended time and your wash finishes, someone may come along and empty it if the machine is needed by someone else. Depends on how busy they are at that time. You will need your resort key to access the laundry room.

The largest laundry room at SSR is near the main pool by the Carriage House. It has maybe five washers and 10 dryers.

The ones near the smaller pools have maybe two washers and four dryers. You can leave it the laundry, but make sure you move it to the dryer as soon as it finishes. And then take it out as soon as it is dry.

I sure hope you are staying at SSR and not just planning on a pool day there. (a running joke that goes along with the free laundry option of DVC)

thanks for all your help- looks like i'll manage to combine pool and laundry( if only i could do this at home!!!)

And, yes, i am staying at SSR, for 5 whole nights!
