Where is the laundry door on Magic?

We are looking at a few different stateroom options for a summer sail on the Magic. Unfortunately, there are limited connecting rooms still available so we can't be overly picky. Both sets of rooms we are looking at are near the 2nd floor laundry. Does anyone know where the actual door to the laundry is located? Is the entrance in front of rooms 2098 or is it near 2086? Thank you!

I just looked at the stateroom reviews and it said the laundry is right across from 2096, so I'd say it's going to be pretty much across from 2098 also.

I believe the door is by 2098. We were in 2070/2072 and that was a nice location. I felt badly for the people in 2096/2098.

OT, we had those same rooms(2070, 2072) for our Alaskan cruise in 2014. Oops just realized you were on Magic, while ours was on the Wonder.

FWIW, we've had staterooms across from the laundry a couple of times and I didn't notice it being any worse than any other room from a noise perspective.

How was it from a temperature perspective? I know how hot laundromats get in non-ship life and cannot imagine how it doesn't increase the temperature in the vicinity on a ship.

After our last cruise which was admittedly a long one I would never book a room there. People were literally yelling at each other right in front of 2098 and it was also extremely warm in the hallway. I recognize the yelling probably doesn't happen every cruise but I saw near fights on a few occasions!

I would avoid the laundry on a long cruise. They ended up posting a CM there to keep people from fighting on our EBPC. We were in 2088, tho, and it was not a problem at all to us; just some free entertainment.
