Thinking about hitting it for lunch on our way in at noon on the 22nd.

There are a lot. Which way are you going, since the closest may be out of the way for you?

We're coming from LAX. I thought there was one pretty close to the resort in Anaheim that we went to about 5 years ago. I don't think we want to get off the freeway and get back on if possible.

You can go to the one North on Harbor from the resort. It's up a little ways just over the intersection with Orangthrope Ave. It will be on the right just past the intersection.

Just before that intersection is a Disney Character Warehouse on the right if you want some last minut shopping.

This area is just north of CA91, so you might want to turn onto that from I-5. You can take Harbor down to the resort.

I am from DC where Five Guys started. I have heard that In n Out is ranked number 2 on the best fast food burgers. So I was going to have the driver stop somewhere on the way from LAX to DLH to grab a taste.

The In-N-Out in Fullerton is to die for. Have made arrangements to stop there for lunch before checking in at our hotel on Sept 29th. It's become a tradition for us to stop there for a meal before visiting our hotel the day of arrival in DL. What set's them apart is that they use only fresh ingredients. Even their buns are made fresh onsite. They treat their employees with a fair wage, and are a all around excellent fast food place, and it's definitely worth a detour to try their food.

:thumbsup2 Stop for sure! Five Guys doesn't compare to In n Out. Utah has both now and I was very unimpressed with FG- super greasy.

Yum! I'll have to try it next time.I seem to remember hearing some celebs on TMZ talk about it.Thanks

No Sorry. We have both in our town and Five Guys rules over In n Out. In n Out burgers are OK but their fries are like dried sticks. In N Out fries ruin the experience.

Actually what I look forward to when going to SoCal is Bob's Big Boy. I miss Bob's up here in the north. They're not as good as they used to be though.

I tried Five Guys for the first time a few months ago (there are only two where I live, and one of them opened very recently), and I would say that their burgers win against In-n-Out's if it wasn't for the awful cheese! My dad even commented on how bad it was, and he LOVES burgers. For the price you pay at Five Guys they should really give you an option for cheese. As far as fries go, I've had better. That being said, Five Guys makes a tasty hot dog. :thumbsup2

In-n-Out makes a great burger, so anyone who hasn't tried it should. However, the fries definitely leave something to be desired IMO.

At In-N-Out you can get meals for a family of four for about $18.00-$20.00

At FG we spent close to $30.00 for 4 burgers, 4 fries and 4 drinks and we didnt even like it :confused3

Bob's Big Boy in Downey is a great place to visit. A lot of movies were filmed in the original building and the food was good but a bit pricey.
