I was looking on the dining menus- and I can't fin the place that serves fried chicken- do they still have it? We are going in 11 days, and I am trying to menu plan a bit- and am dying for some good fried chicken!

Hi Farmgirljen... they serve fried chicken at the Plaza Inn on Main Street..it's alot of food for the money, we always end up sharing or taking some back to the room. We always eat there at least once on our disneyland trips.

Have a great time:goodvibes

I agree on the Plaza Inn and cannot think of any place else that has fried chicken. It is a cafeteria of sorts so you choose a main dish that comes with a roll, mashed potatos and gravy, and veggies. If you want they can hold the roll and can give you double veggies or potatos instead of one of each. Meals range from about $14 with drink to $20 for a delicious steak dinner. No tipping either and unlimited drinks. It has lots of customers so the food usually is right out of the kitchen. I love the potatos and baked chicken but my friends love the fried chicken.

I belive French Market also sells fried chicken, but my favorite is always at Plaza Inn!

+1 on Knotts. My family used to take us there just for that. We of course could care less..look at the rides Ma!! Iwanttogoonthatandthatandthis!!

Chicken is top notch however. I would "save myself" for Knotts chicken and eat all the yummy other stuff til then.

We have a KOA camp ground and resturant that serves chicken, and when we went to knotts the first thing we all shouted out was ...... KOA :lmao::lmao:
yep, it tastes the same, no difference. we were all like hey, we can get this in our town ( cost for a 8 piece complete meal for a family of 4....... 8.99 total

As others have said, you can get friend chicken at Plaza Inn. However, if you're going to be in the area for a few days, you may want to go over to Knott's to have some of their famous fried chicken! They've got a special going on right now where you can get admission to Knott's + all you can eat fried chicken, bbq, side dishes, drinks & desserts, for $39. The offer is only good on the weekends, though. Here's a link to a coupon: http://www.knotts.com/bbqspecial/ .

Either way, hope you have a fun trip (with lots of good fried chicken!).

I just wanted to add that I *think* that they have a walk-up area at Knott's where you can get the chicken, so you don't have to pay admission if you weren't going to the park anyway.

I was also going to chime in for Knott's too. :thumbsup2 They also had some yummy blackberry tea. Or was it lemonade?

You also don't have to pay admission to eat at the chicken dinner restaurant at Knott's, as it is located in the shopping area right outside the park. But, yes, they do have a walk-up window, incase you don't want to wait in what can often be a very, VERY long line.

It's boysenberry punch!
