Where is the Disney Dining Plan offered?

Is this Dining Plan offered at every restaurant/vendor in Disney?
I'm trying to decide if this Dining Plan will end up being more of a stressor than a convenience!
I don't want to be wandering around and wasting any time due to Dining Plan limitations.

There are specific participating restaurants, detailed in the brochure you get when you check into your hotel. (At the top of this forum is a FAQ thread with links to all the information you'll need along these lines. Here is a direct link to the FAQ.) The participating restaurtants include the vast majority of WDW restaurants and eateries.

From what I have seen and read, there are only a handful of restaurants NOT included on the plan, and those are non-Disney restaurants in DTD.

Some of the online brochure PDF's are the old ones, which include the truncated list of restaurants before they got all the contracts in place for the entire list of restaurants now participating. So check manually-created lists at places like allearsnet, rather than the brochures which may not be completely up-to-date.

There are lots of threads on teh DDP, and it sounds like just an incredible deal!
