Where is the closest grocery store?

I am looking for the closest grocery store to property...specifically Pop Century.

There are 2 stores in Fort Wilderness, but I have a feeling that is not what you mean. The stores I go to are Publix, on #192, and Walmart Super Store a little further up the highway. If you have a car, Publix would be about a 10-15 minute drive, depending on traffic.

There is also a Goodings just outside of Disney Marketplace, but I don't care for their prices.

Stopped at the Goodings just outside Disney when we went in December, Our Tiffany Limo driver said it was the only one open (11:00 p.m.) The prices wee just about twice what I pay at home for my groceries - but 50 cents a bottle for water is still cheaper than $2.50 in tha parks!

Closest to POP is the Publix on 192 near the Gaylord Palms Hotel. Exit POP, taking a left at the light. Left at next light infront of Wide World of Sports, you are now on Osceola Pkwy. Gaylord Palms will be on your right, take a right at that light and the Publix is down on the left right before you get to 192.

publix is the best grocery chain in FL. steer away from Goodings at the East Gate. it's a true tourist trap. that particular publix is looking a little worn, but it's your best bet.

i used publix and superwalmart, really you can get everything you need at superwalmart, but i used publix also

Thie directions to the Publix are great. If you continue down past the Publix there's now a SAMS a little ways down on the left and then it's a little further to the SuperWalmart on the right.
We like hitting the SuperWalmart because we can get the kids to bed and then mom or dad can go to the store and get everything we need and not take the kids along.
It's sooo much easier. That store is always busy and very well stocked. (My husband just said the place is hopping at midnight).
