Can anyone tell me where the Character Warehouse is? I've heard it mentioned on dis before and was wondering.

Haven't been there myself, but found this info and had it saved for our trip in April!

Disney Character Warehouse Outlet
You can get great deals on Disney merchandise at this outlet store a little over 3 miles from Disneyland. For basic Disney souvenirs, such as t-shirts, sweatshirts and mugs, you can't beat the prices. Disney's Character Warehouse is located at 233 Orangefair Mall. You can call (714) 870-9363 to check hours, etc.

To get to the Disney Character Warehouse from Disneyland, go north on Harbor Blvd and cross Hwy 91. Make a right at Orangethorpe and another right at Pomona, which is a street that goes right into the Orangefair Marketplace shopping center. A Michael's store is right in front of you; drive toward it and then go left to get to the Character Warehouse, which is at the corner of the building.

I can't remember for sure, but there may be a discount coupon at the Chamber of Commerce website for Anahiem... maybe someone else will know?

Have fun!:woohoo:

As many times as I have been to DL I've never thought to go there. We used to go in FL all the time to get cheap t-shirts and sweatshirts. Thaks for the info!

There is also a 20% off coupon for there available at the visitors bureau at the corner of Harbor and Katella.

Thanks for the information. Now I know where to get the good stuff.

If you've gone to the one's in WDW beware that this one is sort of on the "dumpy" side.

Considering traffic lights ... anywhere from 10-20 minutes

actually it varies... if you get lucky 10 min, if you get unlucky, 30 min...

damn stupid light, once you stop, you pretty much stop at every light :P

There is a bus route that runs straight up too, for those without cars. Get out when you see the In and Out burger! There is a big Toys R Us and a payless there and chuck e cheese (or least there was when I was last there), and just across the street is the character warehouse. We usually take the bus up, grab an in and out burger, do the character warehouse and hop the bus back down to Disneyland. I don't recall the bus ride ever being much more than 10 mins.

If you happen to be in the LA area on a visit, there is a temporary Disney Outlet in the Puente Hills Mall in Industry next to the 60 freeway (Azusa exit) and there's also a Disney Store in both the Brea Mall in Brea (next to the 57 Freeway) and at the Ontario Mills Mall in Ontario (off the 10 freeway).

The one on Orangethorpe however will have a much larger selection than any of the other locations. It's a great place to get figures such as the POTC or HM action figures as well as bronze castings of Sorceror Mickey, the Auctioneer, etc.
