There will be 8 of us on this next trip to DL in July. Since there will be 3 teens, I wanted something close (walking distance) so the big kids can stay at the parks until closing.

I think I've narrowed it down to BWPP, or the Camelot. The website for Camelot says it's across the street. Does anyone know exactly where it is? Any reviews?

TIA

In other words, you're very close walking distance.

Regarding reviews, never stayed there but they get pretty good reviews on tripadvisor. I believe they just remodeled or refurbished rooms as well. If money were no object, I'd pick their 3 Queen suite for us. Looks beautiful, and roomy.

That's exactly what we chose, the 3 Queen suite. We will be there this Wednesday so I can give a trip report once we return.

The Camelot was great! We stayed there back in November 2005 (when they were still the Park Inn. The people working there were firendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and well decorated. AND, the walk to the parks was only 5 minutes. :cool1: We're planning on staying there again this April. Defintely a keeper. :cheer2:

I stayed at the Camelot in December. It's an 8 minute walk from hotel room to the main gate entry lines. (pushing 2 kids in a stroller) You walk past the BW on the way to the park.

Thanks! I guess the reason I couldn't find it on the aerial map was because it used to be called Park Inn.

Now, another question: do you think it makes that much difference walking the extra few minutes to get to the Camelot (as compared to the BWPP)? I'm asking this because even though the big kids (19,19,15) will be able to handle the extra walk, but the little ones (8,6,1) might not make it walking back after being in the park. AND I'm planning on heading back to the hotel to swim in the afternoon.

HOWEVER, I can get the family suite at Camelot for alot less than getting 2 rooms at the BWPP. I think it will be around $60 cheaper a night for the suite at Camelot. But then, having 2 bathrooms may be better....UGH! I always have this problem when choosing a hotel at DL!
