Hi everyone!
My name is Leigha and my fiancée Phillip and I are going to Disney World for our honeymoon this December! It is both of ours first trip to Disney so it is even more exciting!
We are both huge sushi fans! I was hoping to get some tips on the best places to get sushi at Disney!

Thanks everyone! :)

Kimonos at the Dolphin
California Grill at the Contemporary

There are other places but these are the best IMO

I'm sure Cali Grill has great sushi, but if you're looking for a bargain, the counter service place in Japan in Epcot has amazing California Rolls and Spicy Tuna Rolls for cheap prices.

DH and I are big sushi eaters and loved the offerings at California Grill. it is a terrific spot for honeymooners, too - we ate there to kick off our honeymoon and enjoyed the view of the Wishes fireworks from the rooftop balcony. The view of the fireworks and the Magic Kingdom is unique, romantic, and a ton of fun. I would HIGHLY recommend the experience, especially if you have another evening to spend at the MK seeing the fireworks from street level :)

Thanks everyone! I have heard great things about the Cali Grill previously so I'm sure that we will have to make a trip there!

I have had sushi at California Grill, Tokyo Dining, and Wolfgang Puck's Cafe (in the bar downstairs).

California Grill sushi was good. Yum!

Tokyo Dining sushi was slimy and had a fishy taste. Yuck! I am wondering if something was wrong the night I was there. Maybe it is better on other nights?

Wolfgang Puck's Cafe (at their sushi bar with half price sushi on weekdays in the late afternoon) was to die for! Literally, my brother-in-law is planning a trip back to Disney just for this sushi. It was the best sushi I have ever had in my life. In fact, one of the best meals I have ever had in my life.

California Grill!
We are going there after our wedding, it was awesome last time we went! And I'm a HUGE sushi fan :)

We love all the above sushi choices that people mentioned.
But just as an FYI another thing we LOVE about Kimonos is that they're open very late serving food until 12am or after everynight and you don't need a reservation, so makes a great late night dining option, we just stroll over after a night in Epcot or the Studios! Enjoy!

Thanks everyone! This will really help! I wasn't even aware before that Wolf Gang Puck's Cafe served sushi so I'm very excited about that!

Kimonos is the only place on property that serves authentic, high-quality sushi. That doesn't mean the sushi at places like California Grill or Wolfgang Puck Cafe is bad necessarily, but it's certainly sanitized for the mainstream American palate. Their rolls are fresh and tasty, but don't go to those restaurants expecting worthwhile nigiri or sashimi.

I wouldn't bother with Tokyo Dining. It's decent enough, but you can easily find better sushi in any big city around the country.

California grill has great rolls esp if you are into tuna. We also really like the counter at the polynesian up by the kona cafe. I have yet to go to kimonos but have heard good things about it.

I have a feeling that we may try all three haha! We are definitely interested in trying Kimono's because they have the authentic sushi but Cali Grill and Wolfgang Puck's sounds amazing too! Thanks again guys!

Definitely California Grill. The sushi appetizers are fantastic. We stopped going there when they took the appetizers off the DP because that was our favourite part of the meal.

The sushi at Puck's was pretty good but at CA Grill it was fantastic! The Spicy Kazan roll was amazing.

I agree with the above poster the spicey kazan roll at the Cali Grill is pretty amazing. If you need sushi on the run, Capt Cookes at the Poly has some wonderful prepackaged sushi, that was fresh and tasted great.

We really like Kimonos as well. Right now you can get a $25 discount for $2 at Restaurant.com using code LOVE. Pretty good deal for a very nice place.
